We've reserved our tour basically last-minute. Our guide, Kristian, was there exactly at the booked time. It was the 3 of us walking along the paths, he was patient, knowledgeable, extremely friendly and more than happy to answer any of our questions, he's also good at taking pictures! He has shared quite a bit of insight into the history of the park that we wouldn't have otherwise known. All-in-all, we had a great time, and are more than glad that we've booked and got him as our guide. I recommend everyone to come and visit off-season as there are less tourists, everything's cheaper, and you might get a one-on-one guide as we did, which is really nice.

Eramos un grupo de 2 Matrimonos Colombianos. Como buenos Paisas (de Medellín) hicimos amigos facilmente y durante el largo recorrido, nos conocimos mucho y afianzamos la amistad con un matromonio español, que viven en Santander, Norte de España. El Recorrido con nuestra espectacular Guía Samantha, pudimos conocer la historia de tan grandosos lagos. Quedamos maravillados con toda esa belleza.... Comprometidos a VOLVER !!!!

Meet your guide at Entrance 2, in front of the information office map. After a quick ticket check and group introduction, your guide will outline the day’s route and answer any initial questions before you enter the park.

What to expect

Recognized as Croatia’s oldest and largest national park, Plitvice Lakes is famed for its 16 terraced lakes connected by waterfalls and lush woodlands. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, celebrated for its unique karst formations and vibrant turquoise waters.

Guided walking tour: Follow a knowledgeable guide who shares insights into the park’s geological history, biodiversity, and conservation efforts.

Scenic train and boat rides: Experience the park’s landscape from different perspectives, including a panoramic train journey and a tranquil electric boat ride across the lakes.

Reserved entry and skip-the-line: Your park entry is secured in advance, so you can bypass ticket queues and maximize your time exploring.

What to bring

Wear comfortable shoes and clothes.

Make sure to carry enough cash for the entry ticket (10–40 EUR per person, depending on the season).

Accessibility

This experience is not wheelchair accessible.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage, pets, except for registered service animals, alcohol, drugs, and any form of intoxication are not allowed in the Park.

Swimming in the lakes is prohibited.
