Prendetevi il vostro tempo per ammirare non solo le innumerevoli tele, opere d'arte piene di significato oltre che di bellezza esecutiva, ma anche per il luogo dove sono ubicate, immense stanze e corridoi finemente adornati con pitture murali e volte, dove si esprime la cultura artistica di quel tempo. Bisogna arrivare lì già un po' preparati secondo me e con una predisposizione a lasciarsi incantare . Un po' di delusione per i giardini di Boboli in rifacimento e dove non sono presenti fiori e dove c'è erba alta e incuria in ogni dove mi è dispiaciuto soprattutto per i turisti stranieri ai quali questo triste spettacolo potrebbe danneggiare l'immagine generale di tutta la bellezza vista nella loro vacanza a Firenze , il mio pensiero sarebbe di chiuderli proprio al pubblico fino a lavori finiti. Spero di poter tornare ad ammirarli in tutto il loro antico splendore.

The Palantine Gallery is outstanding. A wonderful visit to the Pitti Palace. If you book the audio guide, remember to download it before going and take ear phones. It's not a physical audio guide you collect at the venue. The Boboli Gardens are undergoing some renovation works. But great views.

Bought tickets for opening time and received them on my phone. Easy access. Great audioguide. Highly recommend. Do know that parts of the Boboli gardens are quite steep. The art in the Pitti is phenomenal! Go early.

Palácio muito grande, com muito para ver, e com salas absolutamente deslumbrantes. Estão a recuperar grande parte dos jardins. Pelo que sinceramente nesta fase não sei se vale a pena incluir os jardins na visita

Despite the apparent chaos and confusion ahead of entering Uffizi, the staff had it all in hand and it went very smoothly, with separate queues for each of the timeslots. Bardini Gardens was not independently accessible so we would have needed to go through Boboli. One of the Pitti Palace museums was closed for renovation

Le jardin de Boboli était très agréable mais il y avait beaucoup de travaux. Nous aurions aimé être prévenu. Par ailleurs le prix n'a pas changé.

The palace was fantastic to see many pieces of art work lots of rooms to admire and they were all great to see. I just wish I knew how to work the audio guide better. I had the English audio guide and it would say now you will be walking into Hercules room while I tried to verify I did not see such a discription any where. I did not see a number associated to any room. What I did see in the palace was the names of the rooms in Italian. I wish the audio guide sections were labeled as such. They did have some pictures with the description but I could not always match them up. I became lost with the audio guide after the audio guide 6 which I believe was the ball room. Also while we were there there was plenty of restoration going on Neptunes Fontaine , the statue of abundances to name a few. While understandable it did detract from the experience

The gardens and views across Florence are beautiful, but if you're expecting a lot of flowers you will be disappointed. I'm giving only three stars because both the Neptune Fountain and Amphipheatre were blocked off and inaccessible, so we could only really see the outside of Pitti Palace. This was hugely dissappointing, given we went out of our way (and climed the ginormous hill) to get there. We really wanted to see the statue of Neptune, but couldn't even go around the block off.

Uffizi Gallery: Tue–Sun, 8:15am to 6:30pm (closed Monday)

Last entry is one hour before closing.

Occasionally, certain areas may be closed for restoration or maintenance.

Children ages 0–17 can enter free of charge but must still have a reserved ticket.

Audio guides and digital guidebooks are offered in various languages. Headphones are needed to use them.
