Nous avons adoré la visite de ces deux monuments. Nous avons préféré l'extérieur du palais de Pena plutôt que son intérieur. La Quinta est vraiment belle et les sentiers agréables avec une météo ensoleillée. Mettre des chaussures confortables car il faut beaucoup marcher! Attention pour les billets du palais... dans la réservation il était mentionné que le QRcode n'était pas le billet final, qu'il fallait l'échanger à une certaine adresse pour obtenir le vrai ticket d'entrée. Nous sommes arrivés en avance mais nous n'avons pas trouvé le bureau au lieu indiqué. Nous étions inquiets et avons perdu du temps. Nous avons tenté de rentrer dans le parc avec le QRcode et c'est finalement passé... il faudrait corriger cette info pour éviter de galérer pour rien 😉

El recorrido por Palacio da Pena y Quinta da Regaleira fue hermoso. Las postales de los recorridos te trasladan a otra época donde el entorno natural es mágico, como Portugal. La forma de llegar desde Portugal es facil y rápida. Ya en el recorrido por el parque, el palacio te lleva a la historia del País y permite introducir en las formas cotidianas de vida de las familias que lo habitaban. Hice todo el recorrido por la reserva natural en un día de llovizna, lo cual hizo que la experiencia fuera más extraordinaria. Llegué a Regaleira atravesando el ambiente boscoso para recorrer luego los jardines de la quinta. Los audio guías son una herramienta adecuada para realizar la visita de manera autónoma. Súper recomendado.

I know I heard from some that Pena Palace is a little "overrated" but I couldn't disagree more. Sure, it isn't as old as some of Portugals other landmarks and castles. But, the experience I had exploring and especially on top of the big balcony (which you just buy these tickets to enter the interior and therefore also the grand balcony) was a spiritual experience that almost brought tears to my eyes because of how amazing the view was from up top. A special place, which amazing views and amazing architecture. Also, fascinating was the valuables, personal items, and rooms staged from the times of the Kings who called this palace their home. Absolute must for any history buff.

The Pena Palace, es un lugar muy hermoso, que te transporta a la antigüedad, si eres amante de las antiguedades, de la historia y de la fotografia, no dudes en tomar este tour. Si te quedas en el centro de Sintra y estás con familia, tomar uber es la mejor opción en cuánto a costo y rapidez. Nosotros tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar en otoño, y es sin duda alguna la mejor época. No hay tantas personas ni tantas filas. Te recomiendo llevar agua, zapatos y ropa cómoda. Lleva tu cámara o celular, por que cada lugar es magnífico para sacar tus fotografias. Comprar los tickets con headout fue fácil y rápido, cuando llegas al la entrada solo escanean el código y no necesitas tener internet, además, incluye un audio en dónde te explican mientras recorres el palacio. A nosotros nos gusto mucho la experiencia, y nos encantaron las maravillosas vistas desde el palacio de la pena. Ve con mas o menos dos horas de anticipación para que estés tranquilo. Ten en cuenta poner tus mochilas y objetos de valor en la parte de enfrente de tu cuerpo. ♥️

Loved seeing Pena Palace. Was not sure whether to pay the extra to see the interior as we heard that most just like seeing the exterior. BUT we did choose to pay the extra and very glad we did!! Really enjoyed viewing the rooms, furniture and general decor of the castle. If you are all the way there, we recommend it.

The convenience of having tickets bought before made it easier to go the sites. However , when we got to Quinta de Regaleira- the tickets or cheaper than what we bought online. By more than $2.5 euros. Very disappointed.

Quinta da Regaleira

During the summer months, it is recommended to bring hats/caps to protect from the sun, and water for hydration due to high temperatures.

For the audio-guided tours, bring your own headphones and ensure that your smartphone is fully charged.

Download your ticket and audio guide (if opted) on your smartphone prior to your visit to fully enjoy it.

It's recommended to wear comfortable shoes as this experience involves a fair amount of walking.

Pena Palace

An Android (version 5.0 and later) or iOS smartphone is required to access the audio guide. The audio tour is not compatible with Windows Phones, iPhone 6 or older, iPod Touch 6th generation or older, iPad 4th generation or older, iPad Air 1st generation, iPad Mini 3rd generation or older.

Access to this monument is not authorized to private vehicles. We recommended the use of pedestrian trails or public transportation.

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

Keep in mind that drones are not allowed in this experience. Pack wisely!

Shutterbugs, take note: Flash photography and tripods are a no-go inside the venue.

Suitcases, trolleys, and bag-packs are not allowed inside the venue.

Wheelchair access is available in certain areas; however, some parts of the Palace and park may be challenging due to uneven terrain and stairs.

Pena Palace

The attraction may be crowded, so expect some waiting time, especially at the security checkpoint (15–20 minutes).

Your selected time slot is for entry to Pena Palace. Since it’s about a 30-minute walk from the park entrance to the palace, make sure to arrive early. Late arrivals may be denied entry.

Please use the house tour entrance instead of the main gate.

Private vehicles are not permitted, so visitors should use pedestrian trails or public transport.

About 30 km from Lisbon, Pena Palace sits in Sintra, where parking is available in the historic center or outer lots, though spaces can be limited.

The shuttle service covers roundtrip transfers between the park entrance and Pena Palace.

Reduced tickets for children aged 6-18 and seniors aged 65 and above are available onsite.

Quinta da Regaleira

If you can, avoid driving into Sintra; the streets are narrow, parking is limited, and traffic can be challenging, especially in peak season.

Should you drive, park in Sintra town center and enjoy the 30-minute scenic walk to Quinta da Regaleira. Public transport is your best bet to get to Quinta stress-free.
