The tour wasn't really a tour but rather an amusing oral history of Monet and a quick walk down the street to the church where he was married and buried. However, it was worth it to get a good contextual overview of monet's life before visiting his house and gardens. It also was worth it because we didn't have to wait in the extraordinarily long line to get in.

We found the guide difficult to understand. She did not seem to appreciate the age and slow walking of some guests. There was a mix up over tickets and timings for entry into Monet's garden. We also felt that it was expensive for the amount of information given which seemed to mostly comprise of pictures. Guide was very nice though.
