What to bring

Bring a smartphone or tablet with a stable internet connection to access and use your digital tickets and QR codes.

Ensure your device is fully charged; you will not be able to use the Osaka Metro & Bus Pass or enter the observatory if your device is lost, malfunctioning, or out of battery.

Present both QR code vouchers: one for the Umeda Sky Building Kuchu Teien Observatory and one for the Osaka Metro & Osaka City Bus Pass.

Bring a valid photo ID if requested for verification.

What’s not allowed

Re-entry is not permitted at the Umeda Sky Building Kuchu Teien Observatory; admission is limited to one-time entry only on the day of use.

Large bags and suitcases are not allowed inside the observatory; use coin lockers available on-site for storage.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the observatory.

Screenshots or printed copies of digital tickets cannot be used; only the original digital voucher on your device is valid.

Pets are not allowed, except for registered service animals.

The Osaka Metro & Bus Pass is not valid on private railway lines such as Hankyu, Kita-kyu, or Kintetsu.

Accessibility

The Umeda Sky Building Kuchu Teien Observatory is wheelchair accessible via the high-rise elevator from the 1st floor of Tower East to the 39th floor.

Stroller access is available via the high-rise elevator; the see-through escalator is narrow and steep.

Nursing rooms are available on the 39th and 40th floors of the observatory.

Accessible restrooms are available on site.

Additional information

Only adult tickets are available for this combo; all guests must be aged 13 or over. Children aged 0–3 enter the observatory for free.

The observatory is open in all weather conditions.

The observatory may be closed or have special hours on certain days, such as during the Naniwa Yodogawa Fireworks Festival or New Year’s Day.

There is no baggage storage service inside the observatory; coin lockers are available at various locations within the building.

The Osaka Metro & Bus Pass is valid only on all 9 Osaka Metro lines and Osaka City Bus routes; if you travel beyond the valid area, pay the difference in cash at the exit.

The pass is valid for one person per ticket; one smartphone can be used for up to 4 people.

If you are unable to display your digital voucher due to device issues, you will need to pay separately; refunds are not available for fares paid under these circumstances.

Present the ticket banner (image) at participating facilities to receive discount benefits; discounts may not be available if the banner cannot be shown or if facilities are closed.

If multiple tickets of the same type are purchased together, they will activate at the same time and must be used together.

For security, one-time password (OTP) verification may be required to access your digital ticket; ensure you can access your registered email on-site.
