È stata un'esperienza bella, affascinante ed immersiva, gli immensi giardini e il castello in sé per sé sono qualcosa da mozzare il fiato, consiglio di acquistare i biglietti online come ho fatto io, questo mi ha consentito di saltare una lunga fila per l'acquisto dei biglietti in loco. Il museo all'interno del castello è molto ben curato e la vista dalla terrazza dell'ultimo piano è meravigliosa. Tutto questo nonostante ci fosse una discreta folla in quanto la visita stessa permette un flusso costante e dinamico all'interno del castello. Consiglio caldamente di visitare l'intero complesso e se siete fortunati al dojo potreste assistere a qualcosa di veramente interessante.

Il castello di Osaka è uno dei simboli più iconici del Giappone. Circondato da un ampio parco e da imponenti mura di pietra, offre una magnifica vista sulla città e un viaggio nella storia del periodo feudale. Ricostruito con cura dopo varie distruzioni, oggi ospita un museo moderno che racconta la vita del signore feudale Toyotomi Hideyoshi e le battaglie che segnarono l’unificazione del Giappone. Di sera, l’illuminazione rende la sua sagoma ancora più suggestiva, mentre in primavera i ciliegi in fiore ne esaltano la bellezza. Una tappa imprescindibile per chi visita Osaka, dove tradizione e modernità si fondono armoniosamente. Esperienza molto bella

Of course the line skipping part of the ticket is enough for the five stars it deserved. We spent many hours in the castle itself and enjoyed our visit there. There's so many little engagements to see and do, and the flow of the crowd movement was smooth even though we were there during the weekend and the horde of fellow castle raiders was huge. I wouldn't share more of the actual tour itself as I wouldn't like to spoil it for any of you. But it was worth it and probably for us this will be a once in a life time event and we were very glad to have book it with headout.com.

Pre-purchased tickets with QR code allowed us to skip the lines. Similarly, if you're able to take the stairs at the castle you save time lining up for lifts! Highly recommend.

Purchasing tickets online helped us skip the queue. Was worth it to go up to the top, see the beautiful views from up the castle.

Taking inspiration from the Taisho period, this attraction is an important historical heritage site, built in Ancient Japan. Explore Osaka Castle’s historical grounds at your own time and pace. This experience is one that shouldn’t be missed while in Osaka. In 1583, Hideyoshi Toyotomi began trying to build the Osaka Castle on the site of Ishiyama Hongaji, which was suitable to inhabit a ruler.

After the death of Hideyoshi’s death, the regime moved to the Tokugawa family and the Osaka Castle fell in 1615 at Osaka Natsunokin. This heritage site was then rebuilt under the order of the second Shogun Hidetada Tokugawa, which took around 10 years. This site played a major role as the base of the Western government for the Shogun. Featuring a spectacular light-up and Japanese historical treasures, this Osaka Castle illumination displays over 3 million colorful LED lights on a 300cm long picture scroll. Don’t miss this 430-year-old edifice in Osaka.

What's not allowed

Large luggage, sharp metals, and food and drinks are not permitted in the castle. Only water is allowed on the premises.

Flash photography is not allowed in certain areas of the castle.

Accessibility

Free admission will be given to visitors with disability certificates. One companion can also be admitted for free.

The castle is wheelchair and stroller accessible. However, if the castle gets too crowded on a certain day, strollers will not be allowed.

Additional information

Guests can deposit their belongings at the entrance ticket counter at a fee of JPY100 per piece. Available from 9am to 4:30pm only (last call for pick up at 5pm).
