Well it was very quick and easy getting into the Museum with the skip-the-line tickets and the museum itself was fascinating + well worth a visit; the only challenge was trying to find / figure out where the toilet was!

Abbiamo avuto l’opportunità di conoscere meglio la ricca storia, l’arte e la cultura di Napoli e di ammirare numerosi reperti di grande valore. Ci è piaciuto soprattutto il fatto che la visita ci abbia permesso di imparare qualcosa di nuovo in modo piacevole e coinvolgente, comprendendo meglio l’importanza storica e culturale di questa città. È stata un’esperienza davvero suggestiva e arricchente, che ha reso il nostro soggiorno a Napoli ancora più speciale.

I had visited Pompeii and Herculaneum before the trip to the museum. The museum had a lot more from both sites than I was expecting it's well worth a visit but be warned it's in a very rough and dirty part of Naples

Fantastic measum for antiquity, the statues are fantastic and the space it's self is stunning. The art is exceptional in every sense, and the ticket process and entry was so easy

The MANN has so many interesting items in their collections especially those related to Pompeii and Herculaneum. The objects were very easy to view with placards in both Italian and English explaining the history behind the item. The size of some of the statuary was immense and makes you wonder how they were sculpted. Imagine the delight of the archeologists discovering piece after piece of ancient history.

I visited Pompeii and Herculaneum as part of a tour and delayed my return flight to give me a day in Naples. Prior to the holiday, I bought from Headout a retun bus ticket from the airport and a timed entrance to the Naples Archeological Museum. I was quite anxious but everything ran really smoothly. I arrived early at the museum thinking I would need to wait but was taken through past the queue (not lengthy but nice not to join). The museum is in a fabulous building (Sundial Hall) and the exhibits are exquisit. The cameo Farnese bowl and Blue Vase are exceptionally beautiful. The description behind the Memento Mori mosaic, is reflective and is to encourage us to live life to the full. I fully recommend a visit.
