We're from Malaysia. 🇲🇾 An Unforgettable Night of Music in Vienna! What a beautiful way to experience Vienna! ❤️ Attending the Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra was definitely one of the highlights of our Austrian holiday. From the moment the music began, we were captivated by the wonderful performances of Mozart and Strauss. The musicians were incredibly talented, and the combination of beautiful classical music, elegant surroundings and a touch of Viennese charm made the evening truly special. Even if you’re not a classical music enthusiast, this is an experience worth having. The music was lively, engaging and beautifully performed. We found ourselves smiling throughout the evening! After days of sightseeing and endless walking, sitting back and enjoying such a wonderful performance was exactly what we needed. A truly memorable evening and a beautiful taste of Vienna’s rich musical heritage. Highly recommended to anyone visiting this magnificent city!

Hermoso el lugar te abre a un mundo inimaginable!! La musica te transporta! El director ,la orquesta y los cantantes fabulosos!!! Al final participamos junto con la orquesta y la direccion del director con aplausos al ritmo de la musica!!!!No se puede filmar pero si te dejan sacar fotos al inicio y al final de la obra!!

Event was moved from Orangery to the Main palace and some ushers sent us to the wrong direction, so we had to walk a lot back and forth. The concert itself was very nice. We loved the conductor and the soloists

The strengh and the Joy full. It was really the best concert. I have attended. The Director was excelent as well as the musicians and the singers. Beatifil art.

Das Programm war sehr gelungen, Dirigent, 1. Geigerin, die Sopranistin und der Bariton und das ganze Orchester waren sehr gut. Die Orangerie ist ein besonders geeigneter Ort für die Konzerte.

Das Konzert war die beste Entscheidung. Die Location, bei uns die Große Galerie war spektakulär. Das Programm ist sehr schön ausgewählt, die Musiker mit Dirigent waren toll, haben das Pubklikum miteinbezogen. Ich würde es auf jeden Fall wiederholen, bitte in der gleichen Besetzung und Programm

The entrance to the event was not well indicated. The sight lines are terrible but the venue is pretty. What bothered me the most was that there was no specific program, no mention of specific pieces played or sung, not even who sang. I understand that a program book was for sale, but spending 58euros per ticket should at least merit a paper program or even an emailed one with the pieces of music played, singers, conductor, etc This tells me that it is meant to be a tourist event where they just throw some Mozart and Strauss out and come llevo as much money as possible. As a music lover, I would not recommend this unless you just want to spend 58 to a 100 euros to sit in a pretty room and hear generic tunes.

Bring your voucher or digital ticket along with a valid photo ID to the Orangery entrance, as ticket collection is mandatory and strictly checked.

Pack a light jacket or shawl, as the indoor venue can feel cool even during summer evenings.

Have a printed or digital copy of the concert program or brochure, especially if you are a VIP guest, since VIP packages often include a personalized booklet that adds to the experience.

Carry a small amount of cash if you are not a VIP ticket holder, as the cloakroom fee for non-VIP guests is €1.

What’s not allowed

Photography or video recording of the performance is strictly prohibited.

Outside food or drinks are not permitted inside the concert venue; refreshments are available in the concert bar.

While there is no strict dress code enforcement, sportswear, trainers, and overly casual attire are discouraged. Wear smart casuals or semi-formals.

Accessibility

The Orangery of Schönbrunn Palace offers full wheelchair accessibility, including ramps, barrier-free facilities, and accessible toilets.

Public transport, like the U4 subway or connecting tram and bus lines, provides easy and relatively step-free access to the venue, making it more convenient than driving for many visitors with mobility considerations.

Additional information

Book your tickets at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance, especially during the busy months of May to September and in December, as concerts often sell out.

The concert is usually held in the historic Orangery Schönbrunn, located to the left of the grand entrance, once used by the imperial court for grand banquets and performances. On certain dates, the concert may be moved to other prestigious locations within Schönbrunn Palace.

You can collect your concert tickets in person at the Orangery from 10am to 6:30pm, or later from 7pm to 8:30pm at the box office of the evening’s concert venue.

The performance begins at 8:30pm and lasts approximately 105 minutes, including an intermission.

During the intermission, guests are welcome to visit the bar for refreshments or stroll through the Orangery Garden when it is open during the warmer months.

Parking is available directly in front of the Orangery until midnight for an additional fee.

Cloakroom service is free for VIP ticket holders; all other guests need to pay a €1 fee.

Free cancellation is possible up to 3 days before the concert for a full refund.
