Opas bongasi meidät jo matkalta ja piti huolta, että löysimme oikeaan paikkaan. Kyyti oli hyvä! Ylös mennessä jännitti kapeat tiet. Kapusimme ylös, ehdimme hiukan hengähtää ja lähdimme alas. Aika riitti siihen oikein hyvin. Oli kuuma päivä, mutta ylhäältä sai kylmää juomaa. Kyyti lähti täsmällisesti takaisin alas ja perillä oli mahdollisuus poistua myös juna-aseman kohdalla joka helpotti meitä kovasti.

Tolle Aussicht. Man sieht den ganzen Golf. Der Vulkan ist riesig. Allerdings sollte man die Gäste informieren, wie der Zeitablauf ist. Bei Absetzen vom Bus erhält man die Info, dass man etwas über zwei Stunden Zeit hat. Allerdings keine Angabe, wie weit man laufen muss und wie lange das bei mittlerer Gangart dauert. Man läuft - wie man kann - schnell hoch, verbrungt 10Minuten oben, und begibt sich auf den Rückweg, damit man den Bus nicht verpaßt. Denn das will man auf keinen Fall. Unten stellt man fest, man hätte 20 Minten länger oben bleiben können. Also, sind knapp dreihundert Höhenmeter, bei mittlerer Geschwindigkeit braucht man ca 45 Minuten hoch. Runter geht schneller - ca 35 Minten, ohne Trödelei. Kann man sich dann ausrechnen, wie lange man oben bleiben kann. Aber - desungeachtet - ein tolles Erlebnis. Auf jeden Fall machen.

Fue una experiencia maravillosa, el Vesubio es algo imponente y hermoso! La excursión fue perfecta porque la audioguía era muy buena, muy explicativa y el transporte fue muy cómodo y seguro. El chófer manejó excelentemente y todo fue puntual, tanto la salida como la llegada. Quedé completamente feliz y satisfecha, muchas gracias

Lovely trip after our visit to Pompeii. The shuttle service was easy to find. The staff were friendly. We had two hours and forthy minutes there, rather than the stated hour and a half (which was too long for us in the 30+ degree heat). Recommend bringing plenty to drink or cash for drinks whilst there as not all card machines worked.
