Die Organisation von Anfahrt, Eintritt und Rückfahrt hat perfekt geklappt. Der Zeitansatz von drei Stunden von Abfahrt bis Rückkehr ist ebenfalls perfekt. Wir hatten mit ca. 60 Minuten ausreichend Zeit den Fußweg entlang des Kraters bis zum Ende zu gehen und alles genau anzuschauen und den grandiosen Susblick auf den Golf von Neapel zu genießen. Besonders positiv war, dass unser gebuchter Termin wegen starker Winde zwar abgesagt wurde, aber eine Verschiebung um vier Tage gar kein Problem war. Das Team war hier sehr freundlich und behilflich.👍 Also insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

Everything ran smoothly from booking to the trip itself. The Pompeii office was easy to find using the supplied directions but is about a 15 minute walk from Pompeii Scavi train station. The office had a comfortable waiting area should the weather be unkind. The bus was clean and tidy and the transfers to Vesuvio were straightforward. We had 90 minutes free to explore the crater path which was enough, though another 15 minutes would have been nice.

È stato molto facile comprare i biglietti per il Vesuvio. Mi è piaciuto che ho potuto pagarli fino al giorno prima e magari annullare. Quello che non mi è piaciuto è che mi hanno mandato i biglietti via whatsapp solo 3 ore prima dell'orario di ingresso lasciandomi in ansia. Comunque penso che nel futuro li ricomprerò da loro.

Host upon departure to/ from Vesuvio was classy, hospitable and a very positive, fun & good-hearted person. Non stressed and, with his good humor, taking away stress from the non-mediterraean guests. Bus trip went smooth: no delays, careful & respectful driver. ECCELLENTE :-)

The organization of the trip was perfect. I found all the information either in the app or received it by email. On the day of departure, I was informed by message about a slight delay due to traffic conditions. I definitely recommend it — we really enjoyed the trip.

Tuve problemas con mi celular. Llame al teléfono de oficina para aclarar dudas, el hombre que contestó, fue grosero y mal educado ni siquiera alcancé a decirle el problema, comentó gritando "que viera el correo e hiciera lo que hace toda la gente " ... ? Y cortó ( en español),. Llame por segunda vez ... opcion italiano, al parecer era el mismo ,estaba tratando de decirle y cortó. Tercera llamada opcion inglés.. no siquiera contestaron. Llegué a destino y un guía de la agencia Daniel (creo que se llamaba )fue muy gentil ayudándome a solucionar el problema.. incluso me facilito hasta su teléfono Agencia, Around Vesubio

It’s recommended to wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes with good soles.

Accessibility

This experience is not accessible by wheelchair and pram/strollers.

Due to the steep gradient and the characteristics of the trail, climbing to the crater is not recommended for individuals with complex health conditions, including respiratory or cardiovascular issues.

The hike is suitable for everyone (hiking difficulty: E or easy) and requires no special trekking preparation.

Children are allowed on the hike with adult supervision.

Additional information

The digital guidebook is available in English only.

All Mount Vesuvius tickets include a volcanological guide to the crater.

In case of bad weather or force majeure, the climb may be suspended by the volcanological guides.

Note: Parking and shuttle bus services are not included with your ticket.
