Très bonne expérience en voyage en altitude, nous avons apprécié le guide qui parlait trois langues Le pilote car on peut dire que c'était un pilote nous a descendu à une vitesse record. Tenez-vous accrocher dans les camions ça se coupe pas mal. Sinon très bonne expérience je recommande

The trip started on time with a driver that made the trip a blast on the way up the mountian and down, The timing gave you more than enough time to make it up to see the crater, take in the views and get back down. We enjoyed the experience,

Wir haben den Vesuv besucht Fühlen uns allerdings versarscht beim Buchen. Erst wir mit einem Ticketpreis von 11 Euro geworben, dieser ist auch später auf dem Ticket aufgedruckt, dann wird vor dem Abschluss der Buchung, als Buchungsgebühr mindestens nochmal der Preis draufgeschlagen. Davon ist bei Beginn der Buchung keine Rede. Zudem finde ich die Gebühren übertrieben hoch. Man macht ja praktisch alles selber. Dem Ausflug an sich habe ich fünf Sterne gegeben. Der Buchung und dem Portal würde ich 0 Sterne vergeben.

Malgré une annulation le mercredi cause vents forts, nous avons pu decouvrir ce site le vendredi. Seul petit bémol, c'est que justement lors de l'annulation, nous étions déjà sur Pompei depuis deux heures et ce n'est qu'au moment du rdv qu'on a appris le report ou le remboursement. Si nous avions été informés par sms, nous aurions pu repartir et profiter de notre journée autrement. A revoir donc. Sinon le site vaut le détour !

It’s recommended to wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes with good soles.

Accessibility

This experience is not accessible by wheelchair and pram/strollers.

Due to the steep gradient and the characteristics of the trail, climbing to the crater is not recommended for individuals with complex health conditions, including respiratory or cardiovascular issues.

The hike is suitable for everyone (hiking difficulty: E or easy) and requires no special trekking preparation.

Children are allowed on the hike with adult supervision.

Additional information

The digital guidebook is available in English only.

All Mount Vesuvius tickets include a Park safety ranger to the crater. However, this professional is not a guide, and accompanies visitors purely for safety purposes.

In case of bad weather or force majeure, the climb may be suspended by the volcanological guides.
