The Lake Como tour was indeed an experience with the scenic boat excursion, and it was truly unforgettable. The entire tour was beautifully organized, allowing us to enjoy both the charm of the lakeside towns and the breathtaking views from the water. Cruising past historic villas, lush gardens, and dramatic mountain backdrops felt like stepping into a postcard. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fascinating stories about the region’s culture, architecture, and famous residents. The pace was relaxed but never dull, with plenty of time for photos and exploring. The boat ride itself was smooth, comfortable, and easily the highlight of the day. I would highly recommend this Lake Como tour to anyone looking for a perfect mix of relaxation, beauty, and local insight.

This is a well-designed tour. I was shocked by the large bus of 61 people, but Alessio did a great job of fluently explaining what was happening and giving background information all along the way. In each stop - Lugano, Bellagio and Como - we had lots of time to explore independently. The bus and boat segments were comfortable, with a beautiful route through the scenic country around Lake Como. It was a long and lovely day and we felt like we got a great overview of the area. Alessio was an excellent tour guide. Photo is lunch at Suisse in Bellagio. January is a great time to visit Lake Como!

I will definitely give 5 stars. The guide Lina- the best guise ever. She told us very interesting stories, also taught skme Italian words. Also, the best thing was that my husband and me were lost in Como and were late for the bus for 25 minutes and she did not abandon us, was waiting with patience. I am very very satosfied woth the tour.

At the tour there was an accident on the way and lost half the trip and needed to wait over 3 hours locked in the bus. No contengency plan at all. I understand is not the fault of the agency but it was not what I payed for. On the Duomo it would be very helpful for guidance on where to enter as the multiple gates and audioguide is not labled matching the ticket.

What to expect from the Lake Como tour

Meet your guide in the morning and hop aboard the A/C private coach for an experience unlike any other! Cruise past the street lights of Milan into the picturesque countryside of Italy and make your way to Como. Learn about the history of the land, see the former villa of Hollywood legend George Clooney and enjoy a snack aboard the restaurant on the boat; before we make it to the next stop, Bellagio.

Known as ‘The Pearl of Lake Como’, Bellagio is a town famous for its resorts. Explore the city, sample the local food, shop or just stroll through the boulevards, you’re free to have your own adventure in the charming atmosphere. Once you’re done, it’s time to board the coach and head to the border.

An hour away from Bellagio, the cross-country journey to the foothills of the snowy Alps is as scenic as it sounds. Called ‘The Monte Carlo of Switzerland’, Lugano is located on a beautiful lake of the same name. Known for its artistic culture thanks to ‘Passion and Crucifixion’, a painting by Bernardino Luini, housed in the Santa Maria degli Angioli Church, a quick walk away. The painting is of such artistic caliber, it is often compared to Leonardo Da Vinci! But on Sundays, the trip takes you to Varenna instead as Lugano's shops and restaurants are typically closed on Sundays.

What to bring

All participants are required to carry their original passport/travel document with them to enter Switzerland. Participants from a non-EU country will need a Schengen Visa.

Dress code: Wear comfortable walking shoes and a hat to protect yourself from the sun. If you plan to visit churches, ensure your shoulders and knees are covered.
