Luxor Temple Tickets & Tours

Tour davvero ben strutturato, con una guida appassionata che ha dato descrizioni davvero interessanti. Al Karnak ci è stato spiegato e mostrato come venivano costruiti soffitti, colonne e i metodi di innalzamento degli obelischi. Presso la Valle dei Re abbiamo potuto usufruire del go-kart per gli spostamenti dal punto di entrata alle varie tombe e ci è stato dato tutto il tempo di osservare le varie iscrizioni. Infine a Deir el-Bahari la guida si è anche proposta di farci alcune foto e ha spiegato nel dettaglio la storia dietro la costruzione del tempio e l'ascesa della regina, quindi alto il contenuto di informazioni interessanti. Ho apprezzato molto anche i vari drink e snack offerti durante il tour e il ristorante dove abbiamo pranzato aveva cibo di qualità. Gli spostamenti in bus sono stati piuttosto confortevoli, l'autista ha guidato bene. Unico motivo per cui non dò cinque stelle, la proposta un pò forzata di giro in barca sul Nilo (nella descrizione doveva essere un passaggio gratuito mentre invece siamo stati coinvolti in un giro di 30 minuti al costo di 10€ addizionali).

Family trip with 2 teens and even THEY loved it. Guide handed out frozen towels at one point, which saved us (was 42°C that day). Kids got to crawl into a tomb (not for the claustro types). Lunch by the river was coool and surprisingly chill. Would do again but maybe not in September heat!

Up at 3:30am and still grinning! The sunrise on the way to Luxor was something I won’t forget (bring a hoodie, mornings are chilly). Our guide, Hamdi, was suuuuper funny and knew every corner. The temples felt almost magical in the early light—honestly, there’s so much to see I kinda lost track. Loved the group vibe, everyone swapping stories over falafel at lunch. Traffic was a bit wild but our driver handled it like a pro (and there’s AC, lifesaver). You get a solid amount of time at each site, but I wish we could’ve lingered longer at Karnak. Still, can’t complain, it was EPIC! Highly recommend grabbing extra water—they give you some but it goes fast.
