This show really exceeded all of our expectations. I came in not expecting to love it as much as I did. Great acting, great costumes, amazing variety in the show. The use of space was fenomenal and very unique. Members of our group had seen the film and some had not, that did not change the enjoyment of the play as the narrative was clearly explained. Fully recommend.

Though we think that the performance attracts younger audience, we in our late 50s enjoyed it very much! The lighting and the special effects were amazing. The story was cleverly condensed from the film, the actors played each characters brilliantly. And the costumes were fantastic!

Wir hatten diese Woche schon das Phantom der Oper gesehen und waren begeistert, aber die liveperformances in Hunger Games haben noch eine Steigerung herbeigeführt. Die Hauptdarstellerin hat die Inszenierung vollends getragen und die anderen Darsteller habe ihr Sache richtig gut gemacht. Die Atmosphäre, der Sound und die Effekte sowie die wandelbare Arena haben super viel Spass beim zusehen gemacht. Sollte man unbedingt gesehen haben. Was natürlich hoflt, ist den Teil 1 zu kennen, da dieser hier sehr gut abgebildet wird, aber live. 1++

Show was way beyond my expectations. Loved it. Don't come with expectations though that it's similar to big West End shows like Lion King, but overall - one of the best productions I've seen lately. Great shout out to the director and producer (and actors/actresses of course!)

The show was in a word EXCELLENT! The entire program was well thought out from the ushers uniforms to the lighting and the cleverness of the staging. Not to mention the performance by all of the actors. Making for a most enjoyable evening.

This production marks the world premiere theatrical adaptation of The Hunger Games, based directly on Suzanne Collins’ novel and Lionsgate’s film.

Playwright Conor McPherson and director Matthew Dunster shape the story for theater, supported by designers experienced in large-scale spectacle.

The play was so much fun — Effie’s character was absolutely hilarious 😆 I loved seeing this story brought to life on stage. The only downside is that it feels very much made for people who already know the world of The Hunger Games. The play barely explains the background of Panem, how the Capitol and the districts ended up divided in such an extreme way, or the history behind the Hunger Games themselves. If you’re not already familiar with the story, some moments might feel confusing or lose part of their impact.

The show was really good, loved it !! 🥰 but I didn't like the fact that our bags got "caught" at the entrance and we had to put them away and pay 3 pounds each. We were not informed of the price + the only reason they got caught was because we had food in it (of course we weren't planing on eating during the show) Meanwhile during the break, there were plenty of bags and food inside the theatre. I'd say the rules should apply to everyone the same. Not fair and honestly disappointing, feels like they were picking random bags to just make some extra cash.
