Avenue Q was amazing and I even got my seat upgraded (at the box office). The app was easy to navigate although the cheapest tickets advertised were obstructed.

We watched Avenue Q on Aug 29th 2026 in the Shaftesbury Theatre. The performance was on point and the amenities fulfilled the expectations. It was the first time we saw it in a live performance. Cast was lovely - humorous, present, totally with us all the time. The production involved breaking the fourth wall several times, perfectly timed - always seemed right. As usual, there was a long queue during break at the bar and toilets. Practically unavoidable, but I'm still waiting for a creative venue to break that law. Would recommend this 10/10. thank you for a great evening! Photos from E13 E14 as a reference

The show was hilarious!! The actors were remarkably talented, and the story was charming, resonant, and joy-filled. What a great show!! (But seriously mature!!! I understand the age restrictions and clarity- it was pretty grown up... which made it incredible for all the grown ups, but good to listen to!)

The cast was brilliant and energetic. Amazing voices especially the two lead characters. I found all the themes so contemporary and surprisingly personal. I loved those characters--they are me... all of them at different times in my life!

Every single performer was giving it their all; their voices were incredible, their acting was top notch, and most impressive of all was the expertise they displayed managing the puppets, each character was uniquely alive in their own way. Fantastic show!

Expect a hilariously bold musical blending puppet-style humour and human truths, perfect for adults and teens who love witty comedy and unconventional musicals on London’s West End.

This three-time Tony Award–winning show (Best Musical, Score & Book) has earned cult status, and the 2026 revival reunites the original Broadway creative team, ensuring top-tier pedigree.

Themes of adulting, friendships, jobs, love and awkward realities hit home, with catchy songs, puppets, and a sharp mix of satire and sincerity.

Original Broadway puppets, veteran direction by Jason Moore, and lively set & design make this revival beautifully nostalgic.

The story

Avenue Q tracks Princeton, a broke grad with big dreams and a questionable degree, as he lands in a bargain-bin neighborhood full of loud, lovable puppet-misfits. Between awkward crushes, dodgy jobs, and life lessons no one really wants, he discovers adulthood is mostly confusion with catchier songs.
