Valeria made the whole morning feel like hanging with an old friend who just happens to know EVERYTHING about Roman food. I came solo (bit nervous tbh) but everyone was super friendly. The bakery stop was my fave—never had pizza bianca this fluffy. Weather was a bit HOT so bring water and comfy shoes. Would happily do the tour again, but maybe in spring next time.

We joined the food tour with friends after reading good reviews. It was a cool way to see Testaccio. The mortadella sandwich was HUGE (couldn’t finish mine lol). Some stops felt a bit rushed but guide was super chill about questions. Wish we had more time in the market, honestly.

Did this as a couple on our honeymoon and it was just the best. Our guide, Edma, was so funny and knew all these little facts about the neighborhood. The carbonara at that tiny spot? Still dreaming about it. Only downside: I ate waaaay too much cheese and had to skip dinner. Worth it though!

Went with my teenage son, who is kinda picky, but he actually tried everything! The olive oil tasting was interesting (my son didn’t love it). A bit too crowded at the gelato stop, but otherwise really smooth. The guide gave great tips for other places to eat after the tour.

The food tour was SOOOO good! I brought my mom and she’s still talking about the fresh mozzarella. Our guide was super patient with my mom’s questions. Maybe bring a hat if it’s sunny, ‘cause we did a fair bit of walking outside. Will totally recommend to my friends.
