With its pastel-hued houses spilling down sea-facing cliffs and narrow lanes opening into sunlit squares, this town feels like a living Renaissance painting. Wander at your own pace, soaking in the coastal views, tasting local specialties, and experiencing the laid-back charm and warm hospitality that define the village.
Tilt your way to Pisa
Your day will continue with a journey to the famous city of Pisa, home to the iconic Leaning Tower and other architectural wonders. The construction of the tower, initiated in 1172, faced challenges with unstable ground, resulting in its distinctive tilt. Explore Pisa's historical treasures and enjoy a final taste of Ligurian flavors, including the renowned pesto.
Make sure you buy yourself some local culinary treats, such as the highly-prized pesto of the Liguria region! Soon you'll be back on board the train, back to your private coach to Florence.
