Cette fois ci (parce qu'on a pris Headout pour d'autres visites qui étaient catastrophiques) tout s'est bien passé!! La guide, Anastasia, parlait très bien la langue, ses explications étaient claires, précises, le tout avec une pointe d'humour. La visite était vraiment incroyable, tant sur le fond que sur la forme. Autant les bâtiments étaient magnifiques à voir, autant la guide a bien fait son travail. Nous avions des écouteurs à disposition pour l'entendre correctement et nous avons vu que c'était une professionnelle. Je recommande chaudement cette visite: Duomo, coupole du Duomo, le musée, le campanile, le baptistaire et la crypte

What a fantastic experience! Everything was so well organized, and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate—it really made a difference. Alessandro mi ha guidato in un tour espresso di un'ora fuori e dentro il Duomo di Firenze. Preparatissimo, una vera miniera di informazioni riguardo il Duomo, il Battistero e il campanile di Giotto. Ho proseguoto da solo al Museo dell'Opera del Duomo. Sarebbe bello se il pacchetto includesse una guida esperta per un pò più di tempo, ad esempio dentro al museo.

What to bring

A valid photo ID is required to collect your entry pass and audio devices (if applicable).

What’s not allowed

Please note that entry is subject to a dress code. Shoulders and knees must be covered, and sandals, hats, or sunglasses are not permitted inside.

Flash photography is prohibited inside all monuments.

Large bags and backpacks are not allowed inside the Complex. Please remember that there are no cloakrooms at the site.

Accessibility

Ramps available at the Cathedral, Baptistery, Museum, and Santa Reparata.

Dome and Bell Tower are not wheelchair accessible and are not recommended for visitors with limited mobility, heart, or back issues.

Certified guide dogs are allowed in all accessible areas.

Additional information

The Dome has 463 steps, and Giotto’s Bell Tower has 414, no elevators are available.

Children under the age of 7 are not allowed to climb the Dome or the Bell Tower. Those between the ages of 7-14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Dome and Bell Tower entries are self-guided.

Baptistery’s mosaic vaults are under restoration and not visible; it closes at 2pm on the first Sunday of each month.

The Opera del Duomo Museum is closed on the first Tuesday of every month.
