This tour was absolutely incredible! Our guide, Rory, was so knowledgeable and thoughtful, taking the time to answer all our questions and accommodate our requests. We had already strolled along the Royal Mile, but exploring it with Rory gave us a whole new appreciation for the city. The history and stories he shared brought the streets to life and helped us understand so much more about the places we’d been wandering through. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Edinburgh. Thank you, Rory, for such a memorable experience!

Our guide Australian David was a very friendly guide who told us a lot about Scottish history. The castle is gorgeous and the view over Edinburgh breathtaking. For it was crowded it might have been helpful to wear headphones

Our guide Jen had a very engaging approach to explaining the history of Edinburgh Castle. Her dry humour throughout was great. Although the pace is fast it didn't feel rushed at all. Highly recommend the tour.

We enjoyed the self guided tour of Holyrood Palace and learned so many new things about the Royal family. We weren't that impressed with the guided tour of Edinburgh Castle. We probably would've liked a self guided tour more. My sister abandoned it halfway through because she didn't care for Jen, the guide. She was a bit too negative on how many falsehoods in historical pieces had been put out. I didn't mind it, but she is definitely a quirky personality. I appreciated the nerdiness, but others did not.
