The guides were very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. Our tour leader kept us on track and was amazing (Manuela). We signed up for the Mt. Vesuvius hike and the views were breathtaking, plus we got to see Pompeii and the valley from above, which gave us perspective for our Pompeii tour. Plus it was a great mini-hike after taking the bus from Rome. The Pompeii tour hit the highlights and gave us so much context and information that we otherwise would not have had. We got to visit the women's bathhouse, with its mosaic floors and amazing intact details. Pizza lunch was yummy and the restaurant accomodated food alergies with no issues.

I liked the information given during the tour. The tour guides were excellent. I have to say that the hike in Vesuvius crater plus the tour around POMPEII are too much for some. I am an athletic female and I found it trying at times. I recommend a physical be requested by the participants before allowing anyone to take part. IE: cardio/respiratory health and a DRS note proving they are fig enough. This is a suggestion to protect your liability. If not, probably ask for a waiver to be signed protecting your company should anyone collapse in the extreme heat while hiking.

Very interesting trip, the guide was a real specialist and everything was organized perfectly.

What to bring

This tour involves a fair amount of walking, comfortable shoes are recommended.

Temperatures on the Volcano may be a bit lower than temperatures on the ground, a sweater or light jacket is recommended, especially outside of the summer months.
