Buying tickets from headout can be easy and fast. They offered Chinese audio guide, 7 euro per person. But you need to download the app and bring your own earphones before arrinving, since you could only listen to the audio guide through your own phone, and the internet there really sucks. The thing I still haven't come up with is how did my family add into the audio guide smoothly, they obviously didn't mention it that clear in the technical manual. Overall, it is easy to use, but you need to do enough preliminary work. We still had a good time there.

Très beau site. Beaucoup de monde. Belle visite. Je rappelle que ma visite à la Basilique St Pierre a été annulée après - h d'attente avec le guide. Difficile de l'accepter. Ce n'est pas normal de proposer des visites si on sait qu'il aura des 0Pelerins et que du coup la Basilique ferme à ceux qui ont payé. J'avais retenu une visite guidée avec montée au dôme avec ascenseur. Ce n'était pas gratuit. Malgré plusieurs réclamations je n'ai pas de réponse. 😡

O monumento é um colosso e precisa de mais tempo para ser verdadeiramente admirado. O limite de tempo de para ver os dois monumentos é um pouco apertado. A entrada com o bilhete crreu bem, foi rápida e fácil.

Large backpacks and luggage are not allowed inside the venue.

A storage facility is not available at the venue. However, you can take a baby stroller into the Colosseum if it is necessary.

Names are mandatory for Colosseum bookings. Double-check the names at checkout for a hassle-free entry. Be sure to bring a valid photo ID with you to gain entry.

Please note that timed priority entry is only available at the Colosseum, but the tickets for the Forum and Palatine will remain valid for an additional 24 hours after the Colosseum entry time selected during booking.

Note that there are 2 entrances: one for the Colosseum, and another for the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill (combined). You may enter each entrance ONLY ONCE and not re-enter.

The security check can take 30 minutes or more. To make the process quicker, please insert any object (including mobile phones) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the X-ray.

Going for the audio guide? Simply ensure that the guides are downloaded on the Headout app before your visit. It’s super simple to use, and you get offline access with an easy language-switching feature. Just make sure your phone is fully charged, and don’t forget to bring your favorite headphones!
