Okay, so I went with my cousin last week and honestly, the City Pass just made everything sooo much easier. We zipped past this loooong line at Doge’s Palace (felt a bit smug, not gonna lie). Gondola ride was included, which I thought would feel cheesy but it was actually MAGICAL, especially at sunset. The staff at ticket pick-up were super chill, answered my 20 questions with patience. Only thing—some spots you can’t take pics inside, so heads up for that. Would def recommend if ur trying to see a lot in a short time.

We got this for 3 days and honestly, it was worth it for the transport alone. Vaporetto rides are fun but pricey if you’re buying single tickets all the time. The pass made it easy. Our favorite was Murano, loved the glass blowing demo. The meeting points are easy to find, but the app glitched once and I had to ask a local for help. Still, saved us loads of time.

The city card system is a bit complicated. I was trying to use the QR pass code that the Headout app was showing me and at every place it showed Not Valid when they scan it. The first day I couldn't make it work and after that I realized that the QR codes for each place are actually different and I could only access them through a link in an email that I had received. After that everything went fine.

Got the pass for my parents and I—it covered Doge’s Palace, a super informative walking tour, and even a gondola ride! I was worried about missing something but the emailed instructions were clear. If you’ve chosen the optional St. Mark’s Basilica entry, your visit is scheduled for 10:30am on the first day of your city pass. The meeting point is mentioned in your digital pass.

Public transport validity matches your pass duration (1–7 days).

Children aged 6 to 12 years & teens aged 13 to 17 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

While the pass offers a complete list of all attractions and tours and their opening hours, it is still advised to check the standard operating hours of each attraction or tour for exact information.

Please note that security checks at attraction entrances are mandatory.

You can visit each attraction only once during the validity period.

The pass is available in English, German, Italian, Spanish, and French.
