Stunning castle and gardens. Very well preserved Needs better crowd control for the lower kitchen area, especially when large tour groups are in the castle.

Chenonceaux Castle and gardens were fantastic, it was a very crowded day however they gave everyone a time slot for the Castle so although it was packed people still had plenty of room and time to see everything. Entry price was very reasonable, there are boats and a challenging Maze. Food was excellent and the dining areas were very clean with plenty of staff who were all very friendly.

Beat the hustle by visiting this charming chateau in the countryside. Stroll through quaint little town and enjoy a delicious lunch on the grounds. Beat the line by prebooking tickets during peak times, although not necessary for early morning entry.

Von unten kaum zu erahnen, aber das Château Royale d'Amboise ist wirklich schön. Das Histopad erlaubt nochmals weitere Einblicke in die Geschichte des Schlosses und stellt die unterschiedlichen Bewohner anschaulich vor. Auch der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt.

Bonjour, le chateau est bien entretenu et les jardins sont superbes. Nous saluons l'effort sur les décorations automnales et sur le sympathique feu de cheminée. Mais ce qui a fait le sel de notre visite, c'est la guide conférencière : elle a été pédagogique, concrète et précise, elle a rendu le chateau concret et presque habité.
