Loved the chateau and all the rooms. It was great to see displays in so many rooms which helped make it come alive. It would have been fun to see some mention of the Chambord liquor made in the town of Chambord somewhere near the exit of the chateau

It was a great visit to Chateau Chambord. Easy entry with headout app/tickets. The process was very easy from start to finish and saved a huge amount of time because we did not have to stand in a line.

Château de Chambord et Amboise supers ; circuit fluide. Ipad fourni pour les visites et comprisq dans le prix d'entrée. Par contre Chenonceau l'Ipad est facturé 5€ alors que l'entrée au château et la plus chère de toutes ! en plus difficile de circuler alors que plusieurs groupes de 30 personnes arrivent en même temps ! Il devrait y avoir des horaires précis pour les groupes pour l'organisation. Dommage car ce château est intéressa&nt et les j

Reservering ging heel gemakkelijk. We konden op die manier snel naar binnen, zonder wachttijd. Een bijzonder kasteel waar veel kamers te zien zijn, die ook allemaal prachtig ingericht zijn, een heel mooie ervaring.

También me sorprendió la accesibilidad a casi todas las estancias hay muy pocas zonas restringidas al público y conseguí transportarme en el tiempo e imaginarme como señor del palacio... jajaja. Admission sans problème, par contre l'audio guide du château,très lourd et encombrant,est nul et ne sert a rien,sinon ce château est unique par sont architecture et la grâce de sa toiture de folie !!!

Nos ha gustado mucho, tanto por sus dimensiones como por lo bien cuidados que estan. Ha sido muy buena experiencia. La gente muy amable sobre todo el chiquito del bar.

Chambord Castle

King François I built the Château de Chambord after his victory in the Battle of Marignan in 1515. It was constructed not as a residence, but as the symbol of his power and the French Renaissance. The castle contains about 400 rooms, over 80 staircases, 365 fireplaces and plenty of towers, high ceilings and pointed domes. A major highlight of your visit here would be the famous double helix staircase!

Chaumont-sur-Loire Castle

The château in Chaumont-sur-Loire has lived a colorful history. It was burned to the ground by King Louis XI in the 15th century and changed hands from Catherine de Medici to Diane de Poitiers in the 16th century. Unusually for a French castle, the castle managed to escape significant damage during the revolution. Still, it is a place full of surprises, being both a historical monument and an art and nature center.

Blois Castle

Visit the Blois Castle, the previous residence of several French kings and an extraordinary representation of French architecture ranging from the 13th to the 17th century. Prepare to be amazed when you step onto the magnificent courtyard, surrounded by four buildings from 4 different eras: the 13th-century Medieval fortress, the Louis XII Gothic wing (1498-1500), the François Renaissance wing (1515-1518), and the Gaston of Orleans Classical wing (1635-1638).

Chambord Castle

Please note that only the ground floor of Chambord is accessible to wheelchair users, who enjoy free admission.

Since this is a historic site, certain regions may be closed for access due to maintenance or renovation.

It is allowed to bring dogs on a leash in the park, but not in the castle enclosure, the French gardens, and the Stables.

Guide dogs may access the entire premises.

Domaine du Chaumont-sur-Loire Castle

The main car park is on the hillside (south entrance of the domain – Rue des Argillons). Priority is given to people with reduced mobility and families with pushchairs.

Parking spaces are also available in the village of Chaumont-sur-Loire and along the banks of the Loire.

Facilities: Wheelchair Accessibility, Lockers.

Dogs are allowed at the International Garden Festival but not in the Château.
