Our entry into the Cairns Aquarium was hassle free as the online tickets enabled us to skip the queque and go to the desingated teller for already purchased tickets. This very handy when the queque is out the door! It was the beginning of a delightful few hours with my grandchildren as there was so much to see and wonder at. We could easily go again and see things we missed this time. It is not only the marine creatures, both fresh and sea water, but those that livve close to the water as well, such as monitos and snakes. Then there are the replicas of fossils of pre-historic animals who have lived in North Queensland. Well worth a visit.

Ein fantastisches Erlebnis. Mitten in Cairns gelegen befindet sich ein einzigartiges Aquarium welches sehr schön aufgemacht ist. Es gibt viele wissenswerte Informationen über Australiens Meeresbewohner und Reptilien. Der Staff ist sehr nett und freundlich. Kurz vor dem Ausgang begibt man sich durch einen gläsernen Tunnel durch ein Konglomerat mehrerer zusammengeschlossener Becken in welchem sich unter anderem riesige Rochen und Haie befinden was ich absolut beeindruckend fand. Eintrittspreis für Erwachsene mit 58 AUD absolut gerechtfertigt. Einen Besuch kann ich sehr empfehlen. 😁👌

Cairns Aquarium Night tour on 20/2 was amazing!! Calvin was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable!! It was very interesting to learn so much about the reef and its habitat!! Also I learnt new information about the effects of certain sunscreens on the reef. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!! Our dinner and cocktails were divine!! Thank you for a memorable night!!

The Cairns Aquarium is phenomenal. So much to see ! Organized very well, and there is more than ample opportunity to view sea and land creatures. Clean. Fun place for children with small tunnels under or through fish tanks.

Our tour guide Neve did an excellent job. Lots of info was shared. Selecting / pre-ordering our dinner upon arrival, before the tour, was a great idea. We ate promptly once we sat down. We enjoyed our meal.

The Turtle Hospital experience was a highlight, the overall experience of an opportunity to feed the turtles & photograph them up close. Our guide offered an insight into the many types of turtles as well as some of the dangers they experience. Value for money & enjoyable!

It was very interesting listening to the fun facts of the sea life of the Great Barrier Reef and beyond. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal afterwards also. Would recommend to others to do the night tour.

Head to the main entrance and show your mobile or printed ticket. Staff will scan your ticket and provide the day’s presentation schedule. Lockers are available for a small fee. The aquarium is fully accessible, with ramps, elevators, and facilities for strollers and wheelchairs.
