Floating above the harbor on the Singapore Cable Car feels less like transportation and more like a slow-motion postcard. One minute you’re in the city, the next you’re gliding toward Sentosa with ships scattered below like toy boats in a bathtub. The cabins are surprisingly smooth and quiet, giving you plenty of time to snap photos—or pretend you’re starring in your own travel documentary. The views stretch from lush green hills to glittering skyscrapers, with a dash of thrill when you remember you’re suspended high above the water. It’s equal parts scenic and slightly daring, in the best way. If you’re heading to Sentosa anyway, skip the ordinary commute. Take the sky route. It turns “getting there” into one of the highlights of the day.

We were a little nervous about using head out because of the mixed reviews. Our experience was excellent. Our tickets came in email and text the day before. We had no issues using the tickets and they were cheaper than onsite tickets. There was an offer for free skyhelix with the pass we got online. We didn't know if that was included on ours but we were not really interested in that anyway. It was hot in the skyorb but we went in the morning so I'm sure that helped.

Well I booked tickets online for my wife and I and two grandchildren to take the Mount Faber Line cable car from Mount Faber station to Sentosa Island, having promised my grandson I would take him on it. Booking was really straightforward; reciving QR codes for each person. We wennt on a Saturday morning and there was no queuing. QR scanned and on we went. It's quite a long ride and the children loved it especially when we passed over a cruise ship moored below.

It just not worth the money . Metro services in Singapore is cheaper and efficient to reach just anywhere. That's why i have given it 3 stars.

My husband is afraid of heights but nevertheless he came with me and our children to experience this once in a lifetime dream vacation. The experience of riding the cable car was unforgettable, looking up at the sky, and looking down on different scenery was so breathtaking!

Kick off your cable car adventure at any station on the Mount Faber Line. Simply scan or validate your ticket at the entry point, and keep a valid photo ID handy in case it’s requested. You’ll pass through a quick security check, after which you’ll be guided toward the boarding platform.

What to expect

Get ready for one of Singapore’s most charming rides! The Hello Kitty-themed Singapore Cable Car takes you gliding 100 m above ground, linking mainland Singapore with Sentosa Island, making it perfect for first-time visitors who want to take in the skyline without rushing between attractions. Expect 30 minutes of pure scenic delight with plenty of opportunities to snap skyline shots and themed cabin selfies.

What's not allowed

Keep in mind that flammable materials, lithium batteries, motorized wheelchairs, electronic scooters, and helium balloons are not allowed in this experience. Pack wisely!

Smoking is prohibited inside the cable car.

Accessibility

Manual wheelchair users can ride and exit at any station using lifts. Motorized wheelchairs are not permitted for safety reasons.

Additional information

Cable Car Sky Pass, Mount Faber Line, and Faber Licence ticket holders can upgrade one-way of their round trip to a SkyOrb Cabin for $15 at Mount Faber counters or online.

SkyOrb Cabin (One-way experience) operated on the Mount Faber Line only entitles one-way trip from either Mount Faber Cable Car station or Sentosa Cable Car station.

Singapore Cable Car maximum capacity per cabin is 8 persons. SkyOrb cabin maximum capacity per cabin is 6 persons

Family-friendly experience suitable for all ages, with easy access via public transport, taxi, or car.

Complimentary valet parking for diners and free public parking are available at Mount Faber.

The cable car operates daily from 8:45am to 10pm, with the last boarding at 9:30pm.
