Nothing about Headout is special for this booking, this is NOT a booking for the colosseum, only for the Roma Pass. I do recommend getting the Roma Pass as it gives access to free public transport and loads of sights including the Colosseum, but you have to be aware that you still need to book a ticket for some of these sites such as the Colosseum which is then free if you have the Roma Pass, but don't expect to just waltz up and enter with the Roma pass, you should book the tickets for these sights 10+ days in advance. I strongly suggest getting the Roma Pass through the official website romapass.it (38€ for 42h and 62,90€ for 72h).

La galería Borghese es un espacio de arte y cultura excepcional, cada una de las salas tiene un sello y sus obras hacen que el visitante tenga una experiencia inmersiva conociendo la historia y los aspectos singulares que rodean cada obra.

La guide, Monica, était fantastique : arrivée 15 minutes avant l’heure, elle a gardé son calme face aux 2 jeunes retardataires qui ont rejoint le groupe qui les attendait sans s’excuser et embrayant sur la visite. Ultra-compétente, érudite tout en restant claire, enthousiaste, sérieuse et en même temps pleine d'humour ! une perle rare (et je sais de quoi je parle, je suis professeure des Universités !) Elle s'est adaptée au groupe hétérogène que nous formions, répondant aux questions, sans jamais se disperser et avec une grande culture classique dans les beaux arts. Un bonheur de faire cette expériece avec elle.

En plus d'être souriante et d'une gande gentillesse, notre hôtesse d'accueil a été très clair sur le déroulé de la visite. Elle nous a également donné quelques conseils pratiques (emplacement de la consigne, de l'entrée à prendre, etc ....), le tout dans un Francais impécable ! Attention toutefois au point de rdv qui n'était pas celui indiqué sur le voucher : le lieu mentionné était à l'arriere de la Villa alors que l'hôtesse se situait à l'avant de la Villa, à coté des autres organismes proposant ce type de service.

5 stars out of 5 because the gallery was amazing and our tour gide Ana was lovely and knowledgeable BUT the fact that I paid 100 euros for 2 hours and in fact we spent only 1 hour because the gallery closes at 7:00 pm on the dot and I booked the 5:30 slot was really dissapointing. If I knew beforehand I would have picked an earlier slot. We didn't get to see the next floor because the gallery was closing. For anyone that wants to book this: don't choose the 5:30 slot, you will not be able to see everything!

Our guide, Paola, was absolutely amazing! Of all the guided tours I have done, hers was the most vibrant, informative, and energetic tour I have done. She was absolutely fantastic. If I had any criticism about the tour or the information from Headout, it would be that there was a little confusion on our part as to where we were supposed to meet our guide and how to differentiate our guide from other guides. Otherwise, 5 enthusiastic stars!

I went on my own as my husband is more interested in climbing hills than in art. A very beautiful gallery, although be prepared to walk through a park and need your Google Maps to get to the right place. The park is actually wonderful (at least on a Sunday when I was there). I had problems with the audioguide (yet again) as I apparently entered through the wrong door (although it was the only one to my knowledge) so it didn't know where I was. Luckily, I could eavesdrop some guides so I did get some information, but that's not ideal. The artworks are absolutely amazing, and I cried when I saw my first Carravaggio painting. You can wander around on your own for as long as your ticket allows. There are stairs, and if, like me, your mobility is limited, prepare yourself.

Our tour guide was awesome. He was extremely knowledgeable and he gave a lot of background information throughout the tour. He was very friendly, and he had great communication skills. We had toured the Borghese back in 2012 by ourselves. But this time with a tour guide it was much more meaningful, interesting, educational and memorable.

Your ticket gives you entry to the Borghese Gallery for a visit of up to 1 or 2 hours, as per the option selected. Inside, you move through its main rooms and collections at a set pace, either independently, with an audio guide, or on a guided tour.
