Had an amazing day at Singapore Zoo! The variety of animals and birds from around the world is truly incredible, and the beautifully maintained enclosures make the experience even more enjoyable. The tram ride was such a fun and convenient way to explore the zoo, especially with kids. We were also impressed by how clean and well-organized everything was. From local favourites to international bites, there were plenty of food options to choose from. A special mention to the warm and helpful staff who made our visit smooth and memorable. And thanks to HeadOut for making the booking process seemless! Definitely one of the best family attractions in Singapore!

Headout prompted right after I had booked the tickets on the apps to select the slot. Hadn't I noticed that, I would have missed the slot selection and would have been a disaster .Also the good part is that the nearby attractions within the same park are also recommended so that you don't miss anything.Otherwise the endless co-ordination work with travel agents, slot selection etc would be a chaos.With headout , I see what I get.

It was an amazing place. staff were so helpful as we couldn't get tickets we down loaded to work. The surroundings were breathtaking and the water stations were so handy and needed we spend 4hours and enjoyed every minute

The wetlands was the main highlight of the birds paradise, seeing the so many colorful birds flying around. It is a must go along with the shows in the amphitheatre.

The zoo was very immersive, you were either close or interacting with them. All animals look like they are well cared for and seem to be enjoying their enclosures. The zoo has a good variety of animals, birds, reptiles some I have not seen before. Beware of the monkeys as they will steal your food if you have it exposed to them. We also saw the bird sanctuary which was also impressive and along with the zoo a must to see. When we return to Singapore we will definitely revisit and hopefully do all the other attractions which we missed out on.

Great day out for the family. The whole experience was wonderful from the different areas and wide range of enclosures to the meals. We loved every minute of it.

Over 3500 birds, across 400 species, stay in Asia's biggest free-flight bird park and sanctuary, Bird Paradise, making it a Singapore must-visit.

We had an issue with the getting the App for Mandai Bird Paradise first. The assistance was great but had to be pulled from the line to correct the issue. Second the digital code requirement is confusing as well. Multi-ticketing purchased following the step plan was good for the first ticket but seems to not follow the same format on the second ticket. What's up with that?? Again had to get assistance to allow processing the ticket. Thanks for great place to visit!

Getting started

Enter with your mobile ticket at either Singapore Zoo or Bird Paradise. Present your ID if required and be ready for bag checks at the entrance.

What to expect

Singapore Zoo

Asia’s best rainforest zoo, home to 4,000 animals across 11 themed zones.

Walk or ride: Explore on foot or hop on unlimited tram rides to cover more ground.

Wild encounters: See everything from mini pigs and rabbits to lions, tigers, and elephants.

Animal shows: Watch sea lions and other animals showcase their talents.

Feed animals: Hand over food to giraffes, zebras, and more for an unforgettable interaction.

Bird Paradise

Asia’s largest free-flight bird park with 3,500+ birds from 400 species.

Up-close moments: Feed storks, cassowaries, and macaws as they flock around you.

Photo ops: Snap selfies or opt for professional clicks with colorful birds.

Immersive zones: Walk through huge aviaries designed like Amazonian rainforests and African wetlands.

What to bring

Light clothes, comfy shoes, sunscreen, cap, mosquito repellent, and a poncho or umbrella.

Bring a reusable water bottle – refill stations are available.

Arrive early on weekdays or visit in the late afternoon.

Arrive 10–15 mins early: Seats fill up fast, especially for Splash Safari. Grab a good spot without the rush.

What's not allowed

There are prohibited areas in the zoo. Do not venture into these zones for your own safety.

Do not feed or tease the animals living in the zoo.

Stay seated the whole duration of the tram ride.

Feel free to take photos for personal use. Flash photography is not allowed.

Smoking is not allowed inside the zoo. You will find a designated smoking point outside the entrance.

Pets and plants are not allowed inside.

Skate scooters, inline skates, rollerblades, tricycles and pull trolleys are not permitted inside.

Turn off flash photography for animals’ comfort.

Accessibility

Ticketing machines (TM), nursing & diaper changing rooms, lost and found, free wifi, stoller, wheelchair access, lockers, prayer rooms, rain gears, first-aid stations, luggage storage are available at the venue.
