Made our last-minute Singapore holiday planning so much easier I came across Headout at the last moment while planning three days in Singapore for our upcoming family vacation, and it turned out to be extremely helpful. What I liked most was having one platform to find and book the different attractions my family wanted to experience. Instead of spending time managing bookings in different places, we could conveniently organise our attractions through Headout, with the tickets readily accessible in the app. Once everything was booked, we could simply focus on enjoying our time together. I would particularly recommend checking the bundle attraction options. Booking multiple attractions together worked well for us and was a cost-effective way to plan the trip. Another feature I found genuinely useful was the practical information provided for each attraction. Details around timings, expected duration, preparations and other important points helped us plan our days more efficiently and avoid unnecessary last-minute surprises. For anyone planning a short trip where every day counts, Headout can make organising attractions much more convenient. The Bird Park was very interesting, lots of information on the different species. Such an array of birds, and stunning colours. The night Safari was amazing. We did the walk and at the end of the night we took the tram ride. Some of the animals were much bigger than I thought. If we had more time I would gave loved to visit the zoo.

I liked the packaged attraction for Mandai and the recommended sequence of the visits was very convenient. - made this Singapore weekend very enjoyable and fun.

The staff at Mandai Wildlife were friendly and helpful. The attractions were well maintained and presentation was excellent. I would plan the day. There is SO much to see and do at each attraction that trying to do them in a day is not possible. I'd do two attractions a day and spend quality time in each. Take a hat, fan and a pinch as the weather changes constantly. Don't forget a comfortable pair of shoes.

The Wings of Time Fireworks Symphony was a really enjoyable experience. The show was well organized, entry was smooth, and the combination of lights, music, water effects and fireworks made it feel quite special. The atmosphere was great, especially towards the end when the fireworks started. Overall, it was a memorable experience and definitely one of the highlights of my Singapore trip.

We had taken 6 park 5 day pass which was available at Headout only, which saved us around 4000-5000 Indian Rupees and gave us flexibility to explore all the 6 mandai parks at our own pace..the entry was also flawless at all the entry point with the tickets provided by the Headout, only at the exploria they gave us manual tickets after scanning Headout vouchers...highly rocommended

Getting started

Enter Bird Paradise at Mandai Wildlife Reserve and begin exploring the park's bird habitats. Use the included tram ride to move through the park while listening to onboard English commentary, then continue on foot through the walk-through aviaries and plan your visit around the bird presentations.

What to expect

Themed walk-through aviaries

Bird Paradise spans 17 hectares and has 8 large walk-through aviaries, each designed around a different habitat and its resident bird species.

Heart of Africa: Explore the park's largest aviary, home to around 80 bird species including turacos and other African birds.

Kuok Group Wings of Asia: See species such as Australian Pelicans, Black-faced Spoonbills, Milky Storks and Papuan Hornbills within a habitat inspired by Asian landscapes.

Ocean Network Express Penguin Cove: Visit the enclosed penguin habitat and watch the birds both above and underwater.

Hong Leong Foundation Crimson Wetlands: Walk through a wetland habitat where colourful birds such as Scarlet Ibises and Roseate Spoonbills can be found.

Bird presentations

Head to the PropNex Sky Amphitheatre for two daily presentations showcasing different aspects of bird behaviour and flight. Presentation timings can change, so check the Mandai app or onsite information on the day of your visit.

Predators on Wings: Watch birds of prey including White-bellied Sea Eagles, Turkey Vultures and Harris's Hawks demonstrate their hunting and flying abilities.

Wings of the World: See parrots, hornbills and other birds demonstrate their natural behaviours, flight abilities and vocal talents.

Tram ride and bird encounters

Use the complimentary tram ride with onboard English commentary to cover the park while learning about its birdlife, then explore the habitats on foot at your own pace. Bird Paradise also offers animal feeding sessions and keeper talks where available, giving you additional ways to observe and learn about the birds.

Wrapping up

Continue exploring the park after the presentations, or revisit your preferred aviaries before leaving. The Mandai app provides wayfinding, suggested itineraries and presentation reminders to help you plan the rest of your visit.

Booking your preferred entry date for the Bird Paradise admission ticket is mandatory. Please follow the instructions on the booking voucher to reserve your preferred date.

What to bring

Bring along a water bottle, mosquito repellents, and an umbrella.

What's not allowed

Keep in mind that outside food and beverages are not allowed inside the park.

Pork/lard dishes are not served in restaurants within Bird Paradise.

Professional photographers are available at the park for additional charges.
