Excellent excursion. The driver Mr Kugan has extensive knowledge about the places that we visited. It was very interesting and informative time. I really appreciate and enjoyed.

Here’s what’s in store for your shared half-day or private cultural temple tour with your English-speaking driver-guide.

Getting started

You'll be picked up from your hotel in an AC vehicle and taken to Batu Caves.

What to expect:

Batu Caves: Climb 272 colorful steps for breathtaking views of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline and explore the vibrant cave shrines. Watch out for playful monkeys and admire the intricate depictions of Hindu gods in the Ramayana Cave.

Royal Selangor Pewter Factory: Visit the renowned Royal Selangor Pewter Factory, where you’ll see master craftsmen at work and witness traditional Batik painting demonstrations.

Extras:

If you opt for the private cultural temple tour with lunch, your next stop will be the National Mosque of Malaysia.

National Mosque of Malaysia: Built between 1963 and 1965, this architectural marvel is situated on 13 acres of serene gardens and can accommodate up to 15,000 worshippers.

Thean Hou Temple: a six-tiered Buddhist temple dedicated to the Goddess of Heaven. Built by Kuala Lumpur’s Hainanese community, it offers a peaceful retreat with panoramic city views from its hilltop location.

Central Market & Petaling Street: Explore Central Market, a hub for local crafts and unique finds, before heading to Petaling Street, a bustling hotspot for local delicacies and souvenirs.

Before concluding your tour, enjoy a delicious lunch if you’ve selected the meal option. Finally, sit back and relax as you’re driven back to your hotel depending on your chosen ticket.
