Fue una experiencia increíble para toda la familia. Fui con mi padrino, sus niños y mi esposa, y todos disfrutamos muchísimo. El Zoo está muy bien cuidado, y a los niños les encantó ver a los elefantes y las jirafas de cerca. Luego, el Acuario fue el broche de oro. El famoso túnel que pasa bajo el agua, rodeado de tiburones y mantarrayas, es realmente espectacular y una experiencia que no olvidaremos. Recomiendo encarecidamente esta opción combinada a cualquiera que viaje con niños o en familia. ¡Es una forma fácil de planificar y garantiza un día lleno de diversión!

I had an amazing enjoyable experience here in Barcelona zoo! The staff were so friendly and the grounds around the zoo were so nice and clean! There was a great display of animals and there is amazing plants planted all around the zoo also. It is very central in Barcelona and great for all ages to enjoy !

The zoo tour was a success. The animals were great, but the only downside was the poor trail markings. The rest was great. The aquarium is impressive; the entrance itself and the aquarium tour are fantastic. The zoo and aquarium are both well worth a visit. I recommend it to everyone, regardless of age.

Loved these tickets – you can choose your entry time, which makes everything super flexible and stress-free. Both attractions are definitely worth visiting. I spent around 1.5 hours in the aquarium and about 1 hour in the zoo because I arrived a bit too late and they were closing. If I had to choose again, I would probably spend more time in the zoo – it felt more immersive and there was more to explore. But honestly, both experiences were amazing in their own way. The aquarium was very relaxing, especially walking through the tunnel with sharks swimming above – such a surreal feeling. I was with a friend and we where looking at one object for like 20min, it was to immersive. The zoo had a completely different vibe, more open space, more movement, and it felt nice just wandering around and discovering animals unexpectedly. I really enjoyed the nature, walking there was something memorable. For me, nature is everything there! Overall, great value for money, well organized, and easy to access. I’d definitely recommend getting the combined ticket if you’re planning to see both. Headout also has a way more activities in Barcelona, and makes it easy and flexible to visit. I recommend!!

Located in the heart of the city at Ciutadella Park, a visit to the Barcelona Zoo is ideal for a family day out. It hosts over 400 species of mammals, reptiles and birds, including some that are rare and endangered. The Zoo also hosts school trips for students across all ages in the hopes of better educating people about the importance of rescuing and protecting endangered species and biodiversity in general.

The Zoo has been divided in 11 distinct spaces, each housing certain related species. The Land of Dragons, for instance is dedicated to a set of animals native to Asia Pacific, especially the Komodo dragons that it is named after. At the Terrarium, see one of the most varied collections of amphibians and reptiles in all of Europe including iguanas, poison dart frogs, boa constrictors or pythons!

The primate enclosure was inaugurated in 2006 and is dedicated solely to gorillas, the primates that are closest in nature and biology to human beings. There’s also Aquarama, the zoo's colony of sea lions. The large circular tank of water that houses the sea lions is three stories high and holds two and a half million litres of water. The first floor of Aquarama is also home to a number of species native to the Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts.

The Zoo can be accessed by guests with disabilities and reduced mobility. Wheelchairs can also be rented.

Buy a reduced ticket at the ticket office. This also includes free entry for an accompanying person/carer.

Present your Official Disabled Person Card (33% or higher) at the ticket office.

Guide dogs are allowed.

You will get an email confirmation with your ticket voucher instantly. Please take a print out of it to show at the zoo.

If you have purchased reduced-price tickets, please carry your valid photo ID proof for verification. Students must show their valid student IDs.

Present your printed voucher for a physical entry ticket at the entrance of the zoo.

Ticket Redemption Point

Take the entrance to Barcelona Zoo through Parc de la Ciutadella and show your printed ticket at the box office before going to the turnstiles.

Address: Parc de la Ciutadella, 08003 Barcelona, Spain.

There are two access points: One through the Park of the Ciutadella and the other by Carrer Wellington, next to the Passeig de Circumval·lació (ring road).
