Villas: Adriana & d'Este are incredible juxtapositions of each other! Do them in this order! Seeing the 2nd allows you to better imagine what the 1st might have been like in its day! Headout made it SUPER easy to get tickets for both!

The palace of pope was wonderful and the little piazza for lunch had an amazing view of the lake. We ran out of time for the garden but hoping to check it out next time!

Facilitato da un flusso ridotto è stato possibile entrare prima, un po di delusione per il giardino segreto, piccolo e nulla a che vedere con la cura e la bellezza dei grandi giardini che si estendono verso Albano. Palazzo tenuto benissimo con eccezionale esposizione su 4 versant: visita sulla città di Castel Gandolfo, vista sulla vallata fino al mare, vista si Roma, vista Lago.

Il palazzo dai pregevoli interni merita il viaggio, soprattutto con l'audioguida che fornisce alcune informazioni storico culturali. Peccato che non vi siano sedie o panchine dove riposare nel palazzo, il che può rendere difficoltosa la visita completa alle persone anziane o con qualche difficoltà motoria.
