It was lovely to walk around the varied gardens at Castel Gandalfo. They were lovely in their own right, but were surpassed by the beautiful villa. The history and information around each room about the different Pope's. The history around the second world war and how the Villa was impacted was very interesting.

The trip on the train from Rome was easy. The little town was charming. The museum was well done with a lot of interesting historical information. It was so nice to see how the pope helped the homeless during the war. I would recommend not arriving too early because the town does not wake up until 11am.

Un gioiello nel cuore dei Castelli romani. Il giardino è curato in ogni particolare, nel Palazzo si alternano collezioni fotografiche sulla storia recente a saloni ricchi di marmi ed affreschi. why only for good thing one can state his mind? I had tickets for Sunday November 16th. although whenever I checked on your site tickets for the next day were available, but suddenly no tickets for 3 days, so got the ones for Sunday. it was a busy day Sunday for us. I cannot understand what happened, because on Vatican official site there were available, even for afternoon without audio guide. as one decides to buy from your site, for additional costs, I expected to have all facilities, and dates available, but it was not the case
