We booked a round trip for 4 which suited us. We still needed to queue for a while but less so on the return journey which had a fuel smell. However the sail was very enjoyable with excellent views.

Ich habe wie immer Alilaguna für den Transfer vom Flughafen Marco Polo zu meinem Hotel am Canale della Giudecca benutzt. Es ist eine wunderbare Art gemächlich in Venedig anzukommen und langsam wieder Abschied zu nehmen. Ich weiss auch sehr zu schätzen, dass die Belegschaft sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit ist, mir mit dem viel zu schweren Koffer hilft und mir eine Hand bietet, wenn ich das in den Wellen sanft schwankende Boot besteige.

When we arrived at Venice airport the queue for the boat was long, probably a popular time, Friday lunchtime , but the queue did move quite quickly and within 30 minutes we were aboard. We got seats, our vaporetto stop was the 2nd one so the trip took around 30 mins. It's definitely the best way to start a break in Venice, better than getting the bus or train, in my opinion much more atmospheric and quite good value for money.

Super easy service..straight off the flight and after a 10 minute walk I was on the water taxi amd winging my way to Venice. I had a superb day trip to Venice amd returned in the evening again via the water taxi. Pre booking saved me a lot of money and I would happily recommend this service to everyone.

The water bus service was good. I wouldn't book through Headout again as I requested a return trip and received an email confirming I had a round trip to and from the airport but I only received a one way ticket and had to pay again when I reached the airport.

Multiple ways to explore Venice

Venice runs on vaporettos (water buses), sleek water taxis, and romantic gondolas. Walk the charming alleys or hop on a traghetto for a quick canal crossing. Buses and trains connect to the mainland, while bike rentals work in Lido. Taxis exist, but boats rule the lagoon!

Additional Information

Guests are required to exchange their Headout voucher for tickets at a designated point before boarding.

Your tickets are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Round-trip tickets must be kept securely and used within 30 days from the date of first validation.

In case of fog or bad weather, service may switch to a car transfer to Piazzale Roma.

Service staff is available at Desk 71 (Marco Polo Airport, first floor).

After arrival at Marco Polo Airport, follow signage that leads to the dock/water-bus/vaporetto area. You will have to walk for 5–10 minutes from your terminal to the dock to board your boat.
