I recently visited the Plaza Premium Lounge Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1 and overall had a decent experience. The lounge is well-designed, modern, and offers a comfortable place to relax during a layover. The seating area is spacious enough, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere compared to the main terminal. Food selection was acceptable, with a mix of hot dishes and snacks, though it could be improved in variety and quality. Drinks were easily accessible and staff were generally polite. One downside was that access and organization could be clearer, and at times it felt slightly crowded depending on the hour. Also, some amenities didn’t fully match expectations for a premium lounge. Overall, it’s a good option for resting, recharging devices, and having a quick meal before a flight, but there’s still room for improvement to truly feel “premium.” Ps. The soup was great ...so the cold drinks

I recently visited the Plaza Premium Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport, and it was a fantastic experience! The lounge is big and comfy, with lots of seating. I loved the free snacks and drinks, especially the hot meals. The showers were clean and refreshing, and the Wi-Fi was fast. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge before my flight. Highly recommend it!

I had a 7 hour layover and premium lounge really helped with this. Had a great place to relax without having to go all over the airport looking. I had breakfast and when my gate finally was announced it was just 3 min walk away. So I knew I could still relax without having to think about being late for boarding.

I really enjoyed the food in the lounge. The showers were the best part, very refreshing. Some of the chairs may need replacing as the seats have become quite hard.

Nice service from a friendly staff. Clean and relaxing environment albeit a bit crowded. The food was good. Missed regular usb-c charging points. Good value for the money.

I had a relaxing stay at the plaza lounge. The staff were friendly and attentive, there is a great view of the runway and comfortable arm chairs with charging stations available to relax. It wasn't over crowded. It was clean and easily accessible to T1 connections.. the food was freshly made and tasty I had a shower and the shower rooms are well equipped and clean. I would recommend it for a stop over if you need to rest and refresh ..

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was quite small but overall wasn't a bad experience. The food selection was not tiny but I believe to be small and I did leave full. The shower was nice but their was a weird smell which I think was from the sewer line. Towels were old but was nice to be able to freshen up. I was disappointed to find that we had to pay for some of the drinks. My partner can't drink beer or wine which was one of the main reasons we got the lounge to have a few drinks. Unless I read what you get from the lounge wrong. Overall, not terrible but not fantastic aswell for the price we paid

Getting started

Head to the Departures area of Terminal 1 and present your booking at the lounge entrance. After a quick check-in, you’ll be welcomed by the staff and shown to the main lounge area.

This 7,000-square-foot lounge is part of the award-winning Plaza Premium network, offering a calm retreat for travelers in one of the world’s busiest airports.

Local cuisine: Enjoy signature Singapore Laksa and classic Chicken Rice, plus vegetarian options and complimentary hot or chilled beverages.

Rest and recharge: Choose from three private resting suites or sleeping pods (charges may apply), with comfortable seating throughout.

Showers and amenities: Six shower rooms, including a wheelchair-friendly option, are available for a refreshing break (charges may apply).

Connectivity: Complimentary Wi-Fi and charging stations keep your devices powered and connected.

Entertainment and updates: Access flight screens, TV channels, newspapers, and magazines while you wait.

Family-friendly: Children under 2 years old enjoy complimentary access.

Hygiene standards: The lounge is certified with the SG Clean quality mark and is open 24 hours daily for maximum flexibility.

What to bring

Bring a valid photo ID to match the name on your booking if requested at the entrance.

Ensure you have your onward boarding pass, as the lounge is located in the restricted area and is only accessible to transit passengers.

What’s not allowed

Smoking is not permitted inside the lounge.

Pets are not allowed, except for registered service animals.

Accessibility

The lounge is wheelchair accessible, with at least one shower room designed to accommodate wheelchair users.
