Upper Belvedere Palace

Bellissimo, puoi salire e scendere dove più ti interessa...ogni monumento o attrazione viene spiegata,tramite la guida audio, in ogni suo particolare.

Oltre a vedere grsn parte della città è stato comodo poter scendere e risalire a piacimento nelle varie fermate. Siamo stati a vienna solo una notte e il big bus ci ha permesso di muoverci per la città senza dover prendere i mezzi pubblici Esperienza che ripeteremo in altre città

The palace is amazing. The guide was amazing too. She shared so much information about the palace, the owner, and also about the paintings and the historic, social and artistic context that they were made in. Very engaging too.

Salve. Siamo una coppia italiana qui a Vienna per il weekend. Abbiamo scelto come prima visita il Belvedere Superiore. I giardini e le stanze sono veramente un sogno, anche con la neve!

Visitare il Castello del Belvedere è stata una delle esperienze che mi ha colpito di più a Vienna. Fin dal primo momento ho avuto la sensazione di trovarmi in un luogo elegante e armonioso, dove tutto – dall’architettura ai giardini – è pensato per trasmettere bellezza e equilibrio. Una delle cose che ho apprezzato maggiormente sono stati i giardini: ordinati, curati nei minimi dettagli e con una vista spettacolare sul Belvedere Superiore. Camminare tra le fontane e i vialetti mi ha dato un senso di calma e di meraviglia, ed è stato anche uno dei posti più belli per scattare fotografie. All’interno del palazzo, ciò che mi ha emozionato di più è stata la collezione d’arte, in particolare le opere di Gustav Klimt. Vedere dal vivo Il Bacio è stato speciale: conoscevo il dipinto solo attraverso i libri e le immagini, ma dal vero trasmette un’intensità completamente diversa. Mi è piaciuto anche il percorso espositivo, chiaro e ben organizzato, che permette di godersi le opere senza fretta. Ho apprezzato molto anche l’atmosfera del luogo: non è solo un museo, ma uno spazio che racconta storia, arte e raffinatezza. Le sale luminose, gli stucchi e le grandi finestre rendono la visita piacevole e coinvolgente. In conclusione, il Belvedere mi ha lasciato un ricordo molto positivo: è un luogo che riesce a unire arte, storia e bellezza paesaggistica, e che consiglierei a chiunque visiti Vienna. È una tappa che non si dimentica facilmente e che vale assolutamente il tempo dedicato alla visita.

We love it, in 2 days we were in Schonbrunn and its zoo, History and Natural museums, Weltmuseum, Danube tower, Madame Tussauds, Wiener Riesenrad, Mumok, Leopolds museum and many more... It was fantastic!

Bought the vienna pass for 2 days ( during off season) It was easy to use and i was able to see alot. I Went to the belvedere castle, ferris wheel, schönbrunn castle, sisi museum, the museum for the crowned jewels, leopold museum, Danube tower and used the hop on hop off busses as well as the train in schönbrunn. I recommend planning your day well, to get the most out of your card. Some attractions have timeslots or need reservations before hand. Some open early and others are open late. I highly recommend talking to people at "VPG Vienna PASS GmbH" to get your guide and information about this. The pass for example did not include all the rooms at the schönbrunn Castle. However I was able to gain full entrance with a 9 euro upgrade, which was totally worth it. It's hard to use the hop on hop off busses as the only mode of transport. I recommend getting getting a public transport card as well ( especially if you want to optimise you time), they are available for purchase at all subway stations. I paid 14 euros for 48 hours. Vienna public transport was pretty easy to navigate with Google maps. It also gives a lot more flexibility.
