Getting started

Arrive at Universal Kids Resort Texas, and head to the main entrance with your ticket (mobile or printed) ready for scanning. All guests need to go through a standard security screening before entry, so allow extra time during peak hours. Carry a valid ID if requested.

A family-focused theme park designed for younger guests, known for its immersive themed lands, interactive play zones, and character experiences.

Features

Isle of Curiosity: A central hub with interactive play areas and shady lawns for rest & recharge, plus an immersive retail experience where guests can meet characters from Gabby's Dollhouse.

Illumination's Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club: Let the games begin as Illumination's Minions overrun a peaceful vacation retreat. When Yellow Minions attempt to rein in their Purple counterparts, it leads to a wave of unpredictable, water-soaked fun.

Jurassic World Adventure Camp: It's a journey of exploration where kids can learn about and come face to face with dinosaurs of Jurassic World in uniquely exciting and interactive ways.

DreamWorks’ Shrek’s Swamp: Enjoy ogre-sized fun as you stomp, ride, laugh, and play in Shrek's swamp-themed playground built personally by Shrek.

DreamWorks’ Puss in Boots Del Mar: It's a legendary day with Puss in Boots in Del Mar as the kitty adoption drive is in full swing with colorful decorations, sideshow games, a fun ride and festive food.

DreamWorks’ Trollsfest: Hit the high note at DreamWorks' TrollsFest: the glitter-filled party where you can sing, dance, and play along with Poppy and friends.

Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom: It's Bikini Bottom's best day ever, and SpongeBob and friends cannot wait to show you around their neighborhood under the sea.

Live shows and entertainment: Watch engaging, family-friendly performances and interactive shows throughout the day.

Character meet and greets: Meet and take photos with popular characters from your favorite movies and shows.

Sensory gardens: Relax in calm, thoughtfully designed spaces ideal for quiet breaks.

What to bring

Bring a valid ID with you in case it is requested at the entrance.

Wear comfortable shoes, and bring sun protection, such as sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat, with you to the park.

Carry appropriate swimwear and a towel with you for the water activities.

Dress in breathable, light clothing when you visit.

What's not allowed

Weapons, sharp objects, outside alcohol, mace, or pepper spray are not allowed at Universal Kids Resort.

Inappropriate clothing or behavior is strictly not permitted inside the theme park.

No pets or emotional-support animals (Trained service animals allowed).

Accessibility

Many rides, shows, and attractions are designed to comfortably accommodate guests in wheelchairs or guests with other special needs.

The theme park is wheelchair accessible with accessible restrooms, pathways, and more located in the park.

Baby care areas are located across the park.

You can visit the sensory gardens inside Universal Kids Resort for some rest and quiet time.

Each of the multiple wet play areas will have adjacent changing rooms available for parents to change their children into dry clothes and allow them to have uninhibited exploration and play.

Parks, attractions, or entertainment may: close due to refurbishing, capacity, weather, or special events; change operating hours; and otherwise change or be discontinued without notice and without liability to the owners of Universal Kids Resort (‘Universal’).

Tickets exclude admission to separately ticketed events and exclude parking or discounts on food or merchandise.
