Transportation in Munich

Although the process for booking train trips was definitely not as intuitive as I would've hoped, I am now more comfortable after having booked a few trips.

The bus was on time, and it left on time. I didn't make use of the wifi so I cannot speak to that. I will say, though, that the driver was rude and did not clarify to passengers whether they should get off at terminal 1 or 2. More clarity for people who may be nervous travellers or who do not speak German would be helpful!

The Lufthansa shuttle bus stop is located within walking distance of the Central Bus Station and Central Train Station. This is a very convenient connecting location for the travellers and comes every 20 minutes. The bus is very comfortable, and the drivers are very helpful with the luggage placement on the bus or under the bus storage. It stops conveniently at the door of the Lufthansa Terminal 2 ticketing and luggage drop-off. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I would recommend it to everyone who needs a good connection to the Lufthansa Terminal 2.

This is just about the booking process - once I 'got there', it was fine, but there are so many steps, it was stressful until it all hot sorted .

I used the pass to travel from Norrköping in Sweden to Haywards Heath in England over two days. My first train was 2.5 hours late arriving at my start point. This meant all my reservations were not used and I couldn't find a way to re-book reservations, except on Eurostar for 15 Euros a time. The ICE trains in Germany were good but the train from Köeln to Bruxelles was cancelled. I was concerned I might get stranded in Köeln. I arrived in Haywards Heath 5 hours later than planned. On reflection the travel was easy and accepting delays when five train journeys are joined together has to be a part of the experience. In the future a system for booking new reservations when travel is disrupted would be a real improvement and give peace of mind.
