Step into a tropical haven at Green Planet Dubai, the Middle East’s first bio-dome, replicating a rainforest ecosystem right in the heart of the city. This glass bio-dome houses over 3,000 species of plants and animals, offering a rare peek into the rich biodiversity of a rainforest. The core of this bio-dome is the towering 35-meter man-made tree, around which are structured four layers of the rainforest – Flooded Rainforest, Forest Floor, the Midstory, and the Canopy. As you traverse through these layers, encounter exotic species like bird-eating tarantulas and hyacinth macaws.
