Important Information

Teide Cable Car is located within a protected national park and therefore you are expected to follow a series of basic rules of civic behavior and respect the natural environment. Do not litter or take rocks, plants, or animals. Please remember that it is prohibited to make fire, loud noises or to camp

People with cardiovascular conditions, pregnant women, and children under the age of 3 are not allowed on the Teide Cable Car, because of the risks posed to their health by the altitude

In accordance with current regulations, persons with any physical disability or motor impairment are not permitted to make the ascent by cable car, because of the potential risks if the vehicle has to be evacuated

It is essential to bear in mind that in the event of the failure of the Teide Cable Car system due to unexpected technical reasons, passengers already at the upper station will have to make their descent on foot and using steep mountain paths

Suitcases and large bags are not permitted

There are public toilets at both the base station and the upper station, which remain open during the opening hours of the facilities

Dress Code

When going on a Teide cable car tour, you should be prepared for extremes in weather, both heat as well as cold, depending on the time of year

Wear warm clothing, proper footwear and carry sunscreen

Because of the elevated luminosity, it is recommended that you wear sunglasses

Make sure to carry a bottle of water and keep yourself hydrated

Hotel Transfers

This ticket includes hotel pickups and drop-offs

While booking, please provide the name of your hotel

If your hotel is not in the pickup zone, you will be provided with the nearest pickup location

On the day of your tour, please arrive at your hotel lobby 15 minutes prior to the scheduled pickup time

If your hotel does not have a lobby, please wait at the entrance of your hotel
