The location is quite remote, there is nothing around it. You need to arrive at the right time or you can end up hanging around. It is very popular so masses of people. There are helpful guides. I would recommend this particularly for children

I had an great experience using Headout during my trip to Japan. While traveling abroad, the internet connection was extremely glitchy, and I started having issues accessing and managing my order. TeamLab was genuinely impressive: far more thoughtful and immersive than I expected. The way each space shifts and responds to you makes it feel less like an exhibition and more like you’re moving through a series of living environments. The kids loved it, but it didn’t feel overly geared towards them; it held all of our attention. It’s calm, visually beautiful, and just really well done without trying too hard. Definitely worth doing while you’re in Tokyo.

The sensory highly immersive experience was one of a kind. The mirrored matrix filled with thousands of hanging LED strands & wading thru knee-deep warm water with digital projections of koi fish swim around you, turning into seasonal flowers when they collide with your legs was amazing. To top it off, ordering drinks in the outside bar; in a darkened, floor-to-ceiling mirrored indoor space with moving digital calligraphy was unique.

Got the perfect slot which we wanted at the Teamlabs Planet. We spent little under 3 hours there and it was a superlative experience and a never miss when one is in Tokyo. I saw many people's photos online (Instagram) that went to Japan and visited Team Labs. As there are more then one Team Labs I needed to decide in which one we will go and decided on this one because of the water part of the visit as it is just something special. Also loved light and mirror part which reminded us on the movie Interstellar and enjoyed flower garden really much - even do some people need to be fined as they did not care for the flowers and instructions given to avoid collision with the flowers...Overall beautiful experience, would recommend! :)

When the hall is busy, the staff will lead the customers to the exit who have stayed in the museum for a long time.

Note: It is strongly advised to wear pants throughout the encounter as an area of the exhibit has a mirror surface. Wearing a skirt or wide-hemmed pants may cause your underwear to reflect on the mirror surface.

Lockers for small luggage are available to use and free of charge. Lockers are 26 cm wide, 49.5 cm deep, and 87.5 cm high.
