Homero Manzi is one of our favorites, especially if you’re in Buenos Aires and don’t want to skip out on a tango night. Everything’s bundled into one price—starter, main, dessert, plus drinks (wine, beer, sodas, water), and they sort out your ride too. We heard about it from Adriana, a local guide who was super helpful and gave us loads of tips. She arranged the show for us and honestly made it a great experience from start to finish. Totally worth it!

Esquina Homero Manzi is a spot where you can catch a real-deal tango show, with or without sitting down for dinner. The performances are packed with amazing musicians, singers, and dancers—seriously top shelf. It's about as old school as tango gets in Buenos Aires, so if you want to see the traditional style and all that passion, this is the place. I always tell friends heading to town that this one's not to be missed if you want to see what tango is really about.

Honestly, this was my favorite tango show so far – awesome service, tasty food, the venue is super impressive, and the show itself is full of talent. The singers were incredible (the woman was a total diva!), and the outfits were so cool. I really loved the whole experience.

Have to say, my night at Homero Manzi was something special and felt really true to Argentina. I came across Experience Tour Sarmiento just wandering around Buenos Aires, and ended up with a package that included a ride over, which made the whole thing stress-free. At the entrance, they checked my reservation and gave me a spot right by the bar at the front, surrounded by walls of framed photos, old diplomas, and even an Argentine flag out front. You can pick dinner with the show if you want. I got to watch an experienced couple perform classic songs like "Por una Cabeza" and "El Día Que Me Quieras" (both Carlos Gardel favorites), plus three sets of dancers, each with their own style and personality. Even though everyone followed the routine, they all brought something unique. The servers all chatted with me—I even talked to them about Chilean wine and other drinks on the menu that reminded me of home. At the end, the whole cast came out to say goodbye, and as my taxi was pulling up, I bumped into the music director. Even though the place was closing down, I told him how much I wanted to stay, even though I can't dance tango myself. He seemed genuinely pleased to hear it! Just a fantastic night with great energy and music all around.

I just wasn’t feeling it. The dancers went through the motions but something was missing, didn’t see much connection with the music (and not always in sync). I’ve done ballroom at a serious level before, and for me, it’s all about actually connecting with the music, not just going through steps.
