Great morning, learnt about the origins of Sumo, the basic moves, the do's and don'ts and watched a couple of bouts - it was very interesting and left full of admeration for the skill of the wrestlers. The atmosphere was great, the two comperes did a brilliant job, and when audience members got up to "compete" both George and his compatriot did a great job at entertaining the crowd. Would definitely recommend It was much better than I was expecting.

Top class. Organisation, MC, Sumo's, audience participation, hands on with the Sumo's... what can I say. It was more, much more than I expected. A MUST!!! The MC Paula, perfectly English, gave history into her fathers love of Sumo wrestling. Sumo's demonstration was incredible. Q&A with the Sumo's - insightful Bouts with the Sumo's for both adults and children- unique Thanks for offering this unique experience. A great team with timeless, pertinent organisation. I will recommend to all my family and friends coming to Tokyo. Thanks Sharon

The even was so much fun. We liked the sense of humor used too tell us about the traditionele and culture of Sumowrestling. So except from a lot of laughing it was educational. I will book it for my grouos again!! Thank you so much for making a Japan trip complete.

Truly a fantastic show. Educational and entertaining! The staff was very friendly, proficient in English! Paula as the Emcee was outstanding and I recommend this show to everyone touring Tokyo. Exceptional value for the price and not a tourist rip off!

It was very fun and enjoyable moment to watch sumo and the sumo wrestlers were very fun and entertaining, there was a guy i probably forgot his name but he was philipine and japanese he was explaining the whole thing so perfectly

Super fun experience. The setting is small and intimate which is great. The show itself is informative and very interactive. My sister was also picked from the crowed to match herself against a sumo, such a highlight!

Paula took us through the history and basics of sumo. George and Morita the competitors/players of the day provided the best entertainment show!!

A unique thing to do if you find yourself in Shinjuku and want something different from the usual sightseeing. My partner and I ducked into the sumo show when the weather outside turned gloomy, and it ended up being a great call. The entire experience is indoors, so you don’t have to worry about the rain. The atmosphere was lively and intimate, with seats placed close to the ring so you could see the retired wrestlers’ faces and effort up close. They demonstrated various sumo rituals and powerful moves while the bilingual host explained every step in English and Japanese—we learned way more than we expected. The Q&A session was a highlight, and you even get a chance to spar (very lightly!) with the wrestlers which made for some laughs and photos. A complimentary bottle of tea was a nice touch. If anything, I wished the sumo bouts themselves lasted a bit longer, but all in all, a very memorable experience and a warm way to spend an afternoon.

As a solo adventurer, I was drawn in by the promise of an authentic sumo show. I found myself mesmerized watching retired wrestlers demonstrate techniques that I’d only ever seen on TV. The bilingual MC made every move easy to understand, which I appreciated since my Japanese isn’t great. The best part was the audience challenge—hilariously fun and surprisingly interactive! For me, the true highlight was how close you can sit to the action and the genuine warmth during the Q&A. I left with a snapshot alongside the wrestlers, which made the experience feel really personal. It’s a unique taste of Japanese culture that’s very accessible, just wish it lasted a little longer!
