Hop on hop off bus tour was interesting and informative, but some of the stops were harder to find and buses could run a little later. Belvedere Palace had some wonderful art exhibited and Schonbrunn Palace was magnificent. The online package we purchased said we would skip the line, yet we still had to wait 45 minutes to enter Belvedere and an hour and a half for Schonbrunn.

Wir haben das 48 Stunden Kombiticket „Wien Hop-on Hop-off + Schloss Schönbrunn + Schloss Belvedere“ genutzt und waren sehr zufrieden! Die Hop-on Hop-off Stadtrundfahrt war ideal, um einen ersten Überblick über Wien zu bekommen. Die Busse fuhren regelmäßig, das Ein- und Aussteigen war unkompliziert, und die Audioguides waren informativ und gut verständlich. So konnten wir die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten ganz entspannt entdecken, ohne Stress mit öffentlichem Verkehr oder Planung. Das Highlight waren natürlich die Besichtigungen von Schloss Schönbrunn und Schloss Belvedere. Beide Schlösser sind absolut beeindruckend – Schönbrunn mit seiner prachtvollen kaiserlichen Geschichte und den wunderschönen Gartenanlagen, das Belvedere mit seiner eleganten Architektur und der großartigen Kunstsammlung. Dank des Kombitickets verlief der Eintritt reibungslos, was viel Zeit gespart hat. Für uns war dieses Ticket eine perfekte Kombination aus komfortabler Stadterkundung und kulturellen Highlights. Sehr empfehlenswert für alle, die Wien effizient und gleichzeitig entspannt erleben möchten!

MIt den Tickets hat alles bestens geklappt. Auch die rote Tour war gut. Bei der blauen Tour haben wir beim Schloss Schönbrunn sehr lange auf den Bus gewartet. Als er ankam, hat er dann noch 15 Minuten gewartet, bis er abgefahren ist. Das war vorallem bei über 30 Grad nicht ideal.

Circuits en bus très bien faits, explications pertinentes. Par contre les tickets pour le Belvédère et Schönbrunn ne sont pas coupe file du tout. Il faut aller aux caisses pour convertir les billets donnés dans le bus, donc attente. Par chance les jours de nos visites la fréquentation était faible.

The Belvedere Palace is wheelchair accessible, featuring ramps and elevators throughout Upper and Lower Belvedere.

Wheelchairs may be borrowed free of charge at cloakrooms or ticket offices.

Accessible toilets are available in all primary buildings; seating is provided in galleries, and folding stools are also available at cloakrooms.

Hop-on-hop-off bus tour

Multiple routes (Red, Blue, Yellow) cover up to 50 stops, including Schönbrunn Palace, Belvedere, Prater, and the Ringstrasse.

Buses generally operate from around 9:30am until 5pm, with departures every 15 to 30 minutes depending on the route and time of year.

Seats are first-come, first-served; arrive early in the summer and Christmas market season for upper-deck spots.

Use live bus tracking and downloadable route maps before or during your journey to plan your timing and connections more efficiently.

Schönbrunn Palace

Depending on the tickets you choose, you’ll meet your guide at either the Group Center, the Ehrenhof Fountain (look for the green umbrella), or the Arrival Center at HOHO Bus Stop 30. Check your booking confirmation for the exact location.

Arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled start time, as latecomers will not be allowed to join the tour.

The tour is conducted in only one language, which is selected at the time of booking, so please choose your preferred language carefully.

Each tour is limited to a maximum of 25 participants to ensure a more personal and engaging experience.

In the event of extreme weather conditions such as snow, the garden portion of the tour may be skipped for safety reasons. From November 8 to January 6, a visit to a local Christmas Market will be offered instead.

Belvedere Palace

Visiting early in the day or post‑3pm can help you avoid crowds, as the period between 11am and 2pm tends to be busiest.
