What to expect

Ethical Elephant Village Experience

Spend focused time at an ethical elephant village outside Jaipur, where the entire visit centers on respectful, riding-free interaction with the elephants in their daily routine.

Features

Begin with an elephant interaction experience that lets you observe their behavior up close, understand basic non-verbal elephant communication, and see how conservation-friendly care shapes their day.

Take part in hand-feeding and meal preparation by helping in the kitchen prepare organic snacks like fresh bananas, sugarcane, and fodder, then offer them directly to the elephants for close photo opportunities.

Join the elephants in their dedicated freshwater pool during the bathing and scrubbing session, helping wash and scrub them while activity staff supervise for everyone’s safety.

Use natural organic body painting made from 100% plant-based, skin-safe colors such as turmeric and indigo to paint traditional Rajasthani motifs on the elephants, learning how these designs are applied without harming their skin.

Rely on guide and activity assistance throughout, with staff explaining each step of the feeding, bathing, and painting activities so you know how to interact appropriately at every moment.

Capture the experience with photo opportunities arranged at key moments during feeding, bathing, and painting, while your guide helps position you at suitable angles.

Stay hydrated with drinking water available at the village, included as part of your visit so you can focus fully on the interactions.

Return to Jaipur at the end of the session with seamless round-trip private hotel or airport transfers, completing the visit without needing to arrange any additional transport.
