Something went wrong with this tour but we were soon welcomed by a wonderful guide. This was a privilege to be able to see and hear the stories of the catacombs . To be honest this was the highlight of of my stay

The guide was very knowledgeable but we expected it to be a 2 hr tour but finished after 45 minutes. It would have been useful ahead of time that cameras were banned. Also a tip on bus numbers would been useful. Otherwise a good experience.

The group size was a little large for the space. If you were in the back, it could have been hard to hear the guide telling stories along the corridors. It was a good pace for walking and very informative. Need warm clothes as the catacombs are cool inside. Guide was easy to understand in English. Quick tour but interesting. Photos are not allowed.

My husband and I thought the tour of the catacombs of St. Callixtus was amazing! Our guide did a fantastic job taking our group to through the catacombs explaining the history of how the catacombs were constructed and and how they evolved. The guide was really knowledgeable and answered everyones questions. It was a truly remarkable experience and we appreciate our fantastic guide who delivered all the information about the history with such enthusiasm and great sense of humor! We would highly recommend this tour!!!

war gut organisiert, der Tourleiter war professionell, die Führung sehr spannend - jedoch saß einem die Zeit gefühlt im Nacken, es blieb nicht viel Raum zum Verweilen. Da hätten wir uns mehr gewünscht.

Beim Buchen wird einem mit den Bildern der Kapuziner Gruft suggeriert, dass die Tour diese auch beinhaltet. Allerdings wäre das nur eine zusätzliche Option. Unsere Tour sollte 3 Stunden dauern. 15:30 wurde uns erstmal ein fast 30 Minuten langer Film gezeigt, der nichts mit den Katakomben zutun hatte. Nach 10 Minuten Fussmarsch kamen wir zu einem Bus, der uns zu den Katakomben gefahren hat. Die Dame, die die Führung machte hatte wohl keine Zeit mehr, denn nach gerade mal 25min war die Führung beendet. Dann mussten wir noch 30 min auf den Transfer zurück warten.

You get skip-the-line entry to the catacombs of St. Callixtus on all days except Wednesday. To the catacombs of Domitilla, skip-the-line entry is available only on Wednesday.
