The Rijksmuseum is an absolute must-visit in Amsterdam. The building itself is stunning, and the collection is world-class—seeing masterpieces like The Night Watch in person is incredible. The exhibits are well-organized and easy to navigate, making the experience enjoyable whether you’re an art lover or just exploring. I’d highly recommend it—truly a five-star experience.

La visite avec l'audioguide était très agréable et permet de comprendre les œuvres exposées. Il vaut mieux venir tôt le matin pour profiter au mieux du musée. En plus, le vestiaire est gratuit. Si on a un bon casque audio, l'application du musée est gratuite et offre le même service que l'audioguide.

Smooth entry into the museum. We booked a 9am entry and had plenty of room to move leisurely through the exhibits. The museum hosts a variety of Dutch art, furniture, and history. The metamorphasis exhibit was one of my favorites! The gardens are a beautiful place to relax afterward.

First of all the staff was very understanding when we had a problem with our entry passes. They helped us work through the confusion. As far as the museum it was nicely leadout and easily navigated.

What’s not allowed

Pets are not allowed inside the Rijksmuseum.

Flash photography is not permitted anywhere inside the museum.

Entry is allowed up to 15 minutes after the time stated on your ticket, and you may remain inside until the museum closes.
