Have your tickets ready on your devices or printed out to show at the entrance. Make sure you’ve got water bottles and good walking shoes on as the tour involves walking around the castle’s chambers and grounds.

Walk into Cesky Krumlov Castle and explore its statement Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque-influenced architecture. Marvel at the ceiling panels, tapestries, wall paintings, and architectural designs from the 16th to 18th centuries while accessing suites occupied by the royalty of the time.

Renaissance and Baroque apartments

Enter the castle’s Renaissance and Baroque apartments and see the chambers’ well-preserved furnishings and artwork. Listen to stories about the Rosenberg, Eggenberg, and Schwarzenberg families who shaped the castle’s legacy, and then wrap up your experience with some scenic views of the town of Cesky Krumlov.

What to bring:

Have your E-tickets printed out and ready to be shown at entry.

Bring along a light jacket or sweater to stay warm as temperatures inside the castle can be cooler than outside.

What’s not allowed:

Flash photography and tripods are not allowed. Photography may be restricted in some rooms too, so watch out for signs.

Food, beverages and smoking are not allowed, both indoors and on castle grounds.

Accessibility:

There is wheelchair access at the castle with portable ramps and elevators at some places.

Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available within the castle grounds.
