Words honestly fall short of how incredible Phantom of the Opera on the Harbour was. From the moment the show began, the sound was absolutely breathtaking — powerful, crystal clear, and perfectly balanced against the open-air setting. Every note carried across the harbour beautifully, making it feel intimate despite the grand scale. The performance itself was nothing short of world-class. The cast delivered with such emotion and intensity that you were completely drawn in — every scene felt alive, dramatic, and unforgettable. The Phantom was captivating, Christine’s voice was stunning, and the entire ensemble brought so much energy to the stage. And then… the fireworks. Just when you think it couldn’t get any more magical, the sky erupts in perfectly timed bursts of colour and light, elevating the experience to something truly spectacular. Combined with the harbour backdrop, it created moments that genuinely gave me goosebumps. The staging, the music, the atmosphere — everything came together so seamlessly. It wasn’t just a show, it was an experience I’ll never forget. If you ever get the chance to see it, don’t hesitate. It’s absolutely phenomenal.

Although it was raining for the end part of the performance, the high quality opera singing and acting made the experience much more unforgettable. It was very emotional and gave me chills watching such a famous story unfold. Even though I've watched the entire performance at least 3 times in full, anticipating the awesome songs and hearing the brilliant music live made it such a wonderful experi nice. I really enjoyed the sense of community where all viewers were super passionate about The Phantom of the Opera, and the story is definitely an unforgettable one to remember for years and years to come. What a unique event too with the water view and seeing the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge too! Amazing.

The opera was stupendous. Loved it thoroughly. One point of disappointment- I'm from Perth WA. So the address did not mean anything to me. Seeing the Opera house in the background, I assumed the Opera was on the grounds outside the Opera house n directed the taxi accordingly. I was directed to the right place across the water! Luckily for me there was a taxi there n took my sister n myself to the right place. We had a few minutes to spare before the show started. Please remember that not all Australians are familiar with Sydney The Opera was worth the hassle. Thank you :)

Amazing experience overall. The harbour setting was breathtaking and the performance was incredible from start to finish. The live orchestra, stage effects, and atmosphere made the night truly special. I booked through Headout and the process was smooth and convenient. The tickets were good value for such a unique experience. I also had a great experience with Headout customer service — they replied to my email promptly when I needed assistance, which I really appreciated. Everything at the venue was well organized. Definitely one of the highlights of visiting Sydney.

I didn't know what to expect but the atmosphere was serene! The back drop Of Sydney harbour and the bridge was spectacular . When it turned to night sky the stage and set was superb it made me use my imagination, and kept interest with the props moving in and out especially the chandelier moving in and out of the set! The lighting was spot on. Now to the actors. Amazing! Their voices and the story line submerged me into the the world of imagination, anticipation, humour and resolution! the costumes and make up where fabulous! My husband and I just loved it!

The view was stunning with our famous Opera House as the backdrop. Who needs to say more! The whole outdoor experience watching the musical was amazing! I would recommend to anyone. We were blessed with the beautiful weather on the last night of the Phantom of the Opera. The cast did such a great work. The only drawback was getting to the venue which wasn't very clear. We wanted to walk to the venue but the entrance was locked and we ended up taking the water taxi instead. There were a few people who were like us. I wish the main entrance is open for us to walk in, (with staff to validate tickets), it would have easily helped many people who prefer this route.

The Phantom was truly my most favourite & wonderful musical theatre experience ever, we just loved it so much. It was simply exceptional from the moment we had dinner until we left the facility.
