The costume designs, clever use of scenery props (such as moving grass, jungle) and the fact that a lot of the characters not only had to manage their lines, their songs but also be puppeteers was incredibly well choreographed and talented. Loved the music and the whole experience. Highly recommend! Seats were also excellent.

The Capitol Theatre was awesome and the Lion King theatrics were cleverly done. A couple of moments in the story would have been confusing if I hadn't already known the plot from the original movie. Overall though, an excellent show which I thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you.

Great old theatre to show Lion King, haven't been there for decades. A breathtaking show, I had a smile from ear to ear, particularly the first half. Performers faultless, custumes amazing, and the "puppetry" gob smacking.

Absolutely incredible! From the cast, the costumes, the drama, the singing - if I didn't attend on the final night, I would have seen it again! Congratulations to the beautiful cast, the orchestra and the crew!

The costumes were fantastic but found the music was too loud for some of the voices and even though I knew some of the songs the hyenas were impossible to understand.

Watching The Lion King musical with three generations of our family was truly an unforgettable experience. Sharing this magical production with my two grandchildren, my son, his wife, and GM made it even more special. The spectacular costumes, breathtaking stage design, powerful music, and incredible performances brought the African experience to life before our eyes. Beyond the visual splendour, the story touched our hearts with its timeless lessons about family, courage, love, responsibility, and the circle of life. What made the experience wonderful was seeing how one story could connect us all, regardless of age. For the grandchildren, it was a magical adventure; for the adults, a nostalgic reminder of life's deeper meanings. Most precious of all was creating beautiful family memories together, across three generations, that we will cherish forever.

Show costumes, set design, puppetry, songs & dance routines all outstanding. Sound very good in this theatre. Actors voice projection great. Seating has low rise so hard to see past people in rows in front when actors stay low in scenes on stage. Grab a booster seat cushion for littlies before entering doors as limited number available.
