Picked up by Jonathan from our hotel. His communication was incredible the night before the event on WhatsApp. Told us that it'll be cold so bring a jacket. Grateful about that otherwise I'd have froze. He was at our hotel not a minute late and not a minute early. It was amazing. Wi (pronounced We) was our jeep driver. Amazing photos, great recommendations for poses, wish I could upload some of be videos he took! Incredible. Experience was outstanding I will absolutely be recommending. The hot springs were surprisingly great. Like others mentioned, there are flies everywhere. We didn't eat at the restaurant at the hot spring because of the flies!! But Jonathan was able to recommend a restaurant on the way back to our hotel which was a lovely place too! Entire thing was incredible. Will more than likely do it again.

We got picked up from our villa by Kadek Dwika, who made us feel very comfortable and safe in his car. We where then handed to Riski our tour guide for the day who explained what we where doing and when. Risky was very helpful and again made us feel comfortable and safe. Taking lotscof pictures for us without even asking. Riski took it upon himself to learn a lot about the history of Mt Batur and informed us of all his knowledge. Both Kadek and Riski could not have been any more helpful and friendly. Start to finish everything ran smoothly and was in our own time, we never felt rushed. Very good experience, highly recommend.

I had a great experience on this tour and wanted to specifically highlight the excellent service from the team. Toni was fantastic with the hotel transfers—very punctual and professional. Nick did an incredible job with the 4x4 drive up Mt Batur; he’s a skilled driver and a skilled photographer who made the ascent both safe and the experience at the summit memorable Excellent service all around. Highly recommended!

The tour is amazing, truly worth it getting up so early! The sunrise is a blast and we'll keep it forever! D has been an amazing driver who was always available throughout the day! Kadek was a great guide/driver. He was on time at pickup, drove safely and was easy to talk to on the drive to Mount Batur. The trek went a little over time but I never felt rushed when heading to the hot springs or coffee plantation. A great experience overall and would recommend him as a guide/driver.

Additional information

Hotel transfers are available in these regions: Denpasar, Ubud, Sanur, Seminyak, Canggu, Legian, Kuta, Nusa Dua, and Jimbaran.

The hike is long: 1.5 hours one-way. And it gets chilly – the summit temperature ranges between 8° to 15° C

Extra pickup charges of IDR 400,000 apply for locations in East, North, and West Bali, including Lempuyang, Amed, Lovina, Munduk, and Balian Beach.
